Dollar Tree — Local services in Shrewsbury Township

Great employee! The young woman was very friendly and nice and seemed to be running the whole store by herself which wasn't fair.

Clean store. Well stocked. This location has a few different things than the Hanover locations but overall the same standard Dollar Tree you'd find anywhere.

There did seem to only be two employees in the entire store though. The manager appeared not to be doing anything while the other employee was stocking shelves and then had to come back to the register whenever someone was ready to checkout. They really need to hire more employees because that wasn't fair to put on one person. She did an excellent job but shouldn't have had to if more people were hired.

There's also a cow's bell to ring for service when you're ready to checkout which just seemed degrading. I don't want to ring a cow bell for a human. Employees aren't animals.

I go to this store quite often. Would give more stars if they had enough people to work registers. The cashiers also do the stocking, and normally they only have one register open out of 5 registers. I always seem to go when they are busy coincidentally and sometimes wait in line longer than it took me to shop. I know that stresses the cashiers out. They will finally call another person to help. When someone comes in and gets $50 worth of items (dollar store, everything is no more than $1, so 50 items) and I'm the only other person in line, they won't call someone to help and it still takes an awful long time in line! Once a manager came over and opened up and helped me. I have even applied there more than once when they had signs help wanted, but never received a call back....

My bank account said one thing before I left my house and during check out it stated something else, so there was about 5 items total I needed to put back. The cashier made a HUGE deal about it out loud and snapped at me with “Are you kidding me??” In front of my young son. It was embarrassing honestly, By my reaction she knew she was being rude, you’re the one who chose to work at dollar tree. Be grateful you had a very mature and well mannered young woman before you who knew how to be the bigger person. If you can’t handle working with the public maybe you should get a job...
