While visiting the Cosmetic Co., we walked in to hear a clerk (Angie Zimmerman) shouting at a middle aged customer, âDO NOT OPEN BOXES!â The middle aged woman began explaining She was not opening boxes. Angie then said, âWe worry about people opening boxes and stealing stuff.â Insinuating the lady was trying to steal merchandise. The lady promptly put down the few items she had in her basket to purchase and left the store without purchasing. I then inquired about a couple of items, and Angie showed me one product and then walked away and started putting her own make up on behind the counter. Another lady ask for help with a foundation, and Angie replied, âLady youâre going to have to help yourself, so I can help you!â Despite the horrible Customerservice, I returned the next day to purchase some additional products (approximately adding up to $250-$300 ), Angie again (the second day) sitting behind the counter again putting make up on herself ignoring many customers in the store, including me, until I interrupted her putting on her make up about a product. She stood up from behind the counter and started yelling, âRead the sign!!!â I put down my items, and left the sore. The Cosmetic Co. at Silverthorne has lost my $$$$$ and the ladyâs $$$$$ the day before. Angie is likely costing the store hundreds of...
Read moreUPDATE! I was visiting Keystone over the weekend and made it a point to stop in to this store because I had such a positive experience last time. Yesterday (08/16/25) was a completely opposite experience. No one greeted me when I walked into the store (there were two employees behind the counter) I asked questions about where more blush or eyeshadow may be. The employees were extremely unhelpful (including the manager who eventually came out) I was asking the manager about different shades and instead of checking the back, she tried to gaslight me that the colors I had were âclose enoughâ to each other. But the last straw for me was check out!! I was told they were having a sale 6 for $60. I brought my 6 things up and the manager checked me out and said my total was $111.63. Excuse me? I mentioned the sale and she just gave her employee (who told me about this sale) an annoyed look. Why wouldnât she also be promoting the sale?!?! Very bad experience. Luckily I can go to the one in Castle Rock next time. Atrocious customer service! The picture shows all the different colors I left with next to my actual color 1N2. Pshh
Iâm very glad I stopped in today. Rebecca was beyond helpful! Look at...
Read moreI have been to quite a few of these stores across different states and most are pretty consistent. However, we arrived at this store at 3:05pm on Saturday and there was a sign that said âbe back in 1 hour, at lunch.â I totally get people need a break, but when they re-opened after lunch, there were 3 employees thereâŚso not sure why youâd close the whole store instead of staggering breaks, especially on a Saturday. Employees appeared disengaged and more interested in talking about the drama in their personal lives, than helping customers. The youngest lady of the 3 was friendly when we checked out, while the other 2 ladies were chatting...
