Gunderson's Jewelers — Local services in Sioux City

5/08/2021 After 1 year and countless promises that he will finish the repair on my Omega watch. Below are pictures exactly how it was returned to me. No hands on it, movement disassembled and missing parts. And still no return phone call or email from Gundersons management or staff. Unbelievable poor service.

Update Friday 5/07/2021 As you can see by their response they indicate they have trying to reach me following this review. Unfortunately this is not true. I am easy to get in touch with. I have called and emailed and left my name address email address and telephone number with no response.

Harry Granzow the watchmaker at Gundersons Jewelers has had my Omega Seamaster Co-axial chronograph for 1 year now. Harry has been telling me for 8 months plus on a regular basis that he will finish the repair on my watch (next week). Well next week never comes. I have left messages for his superior in the company and get no response. This is exactly why services like Yelp exist. Yelp is for both positive and negative reviews. This is a negative review. I can’t say enough about the excellence of Gunderson’s Jewelers! We recently worked with Laurie and Breanne to purchase rings for an anniversary and vow renewal. I imagine this wasn’t a signature sale for their store considering the incredible brands and quality of products they offer. Regardless, they are kind and consultative, and went above and beyond in every way.

We looked at various styles and then they created something custom at the store that blew away our expectations. I didn’t know they had this capability and their craftsmanship would rival any fine jeweler in the world. Finally, we were on a condensed time line and they made a commitment to have the rings completed by the time of our event and they overdelivered by having everything done ahead of schedule. We are fortunate to have this level of service and quality in our local market.

After several failed attempts from other jewelry stores in Sioux City, for a battery to my watch. I Walked into Gunderson's Jewelers for the first time ever and I will be a customer for life! The customer service was top notch, and the representatives were very attentive, and knowledgeable. The repair person who restored my battery went above and beyond then just replacing the battery. He informed me of matters about my watch that I was unaware of, and I have had my watch for 18yrs. Not only did he replaced the battery at a MUCH! better cost then I have paid in the past from other jewelry stores. He did a pressure test and thoroughly clean the inside from corrosion, and moisture, free of charge! He also informed me after the pressure test that my watch was not water resistant, even though it said so on the back plate. The entire staff is of great character and appreciates your business. I will be doing all my jewelry purchases from Gunderson's Jewelers...
