PLEASE READ BEWARE!!! *
2017 I buy a surface pro touch screen $999.00 it never work correctly. I have not use windows since windows xp I'm a Mac user I thought the surface was just cheep come to find out this Best Buy sold me a defective surface YES" I do have a 2 year warranty so I took it back to best buy to get it fix why Best telling me they replacing it with a refurbished computer what???? my warranty expires in 2 months so Best Buy given me a used computer that has already been broken then after 3 months I'll be looking goofy because my warranty will over.
I did not know I was paying for a refurbish warranty Best Buy full of ..... I was going in to buy a new surface that work correctly but Microsoft at Best Buy told be to go get my surface they will replace it with a new one that's was a lie meaning a use one my wife said you getting the Sony 75 inch today ha yea right so my warranty can be refurbish I'm good after that I walk my azz out the store they warranty sucks I will never buy out of Best Buy again. 2 sneaky 4 me I don't think the sell was supposed to tell me I was getting a refurbish computer they thought I did not know what it was because when I said what it was sell rep froze up people please be careful company will run all over you. 2 people work the desk and lines frequently form and long wait times ensue. The staff I believe are overwhelmed and come across as disorganized and unprofessional.
My somewhat minor laptop issue was fixed without a problem. However my $65 laptop charger "went missing", even with my name on the charger. I was given a "suitable substitute" and pushed to actually get the correct charger my laptop came with. Finally 2 days later I was given a new charger.
Our computers are very sensitive devices with a lot of personal information and can be integral to a job. For a Geek Squad in a best buy to be bad is very worrisome. You don't want to leave your precious laptop with a disorganized Geek Squad repair. I don't think I would...
Read moreI had an appointment at this BestBuy geek squad and I showed up 10 minutes early just in case. I received no greeting and there was no where to check in for my appointment. When I got there a customer was already being helped and it seemed like only one person was working up front. I waited until about 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment to ask the worker if I could just leave my Mac so they can check it out. The worker said that I had to wait until they were done with the customer they were currently helping and then she would look at my laptop.
