Nordstrom Rack — Local services in Snellville

Tazz! Yes girl, you are it. To be clear this review is not about the store itself, rather about a specific team member at that location.

I recently went during the holidays and while I didn't expect much, I got a lot more than I expected. I was looking for a coat I had in my hand the day prior, at that store but didn't purchase. I went to the registers, I went to the racks, I went to the go-backs. Nada. Nothing. Zero.

I enlisted the help of Ms.Tazz and she kindly and efficiently helped my scour the racks, again. Ms.Tazz then scanned for the item in the inventory, it showed it was there but we couldn't find it. I left my phone number at the registers without much hope. To my surprise I received a phone call the following day that Ms.Tazz found the coat. Ms.Tazz had gone as far as putting my name on the tag to the coat. I went in that evening and was finally able to purchase the coat.

I was floored by the level of service and commitment by Ms.Tazz. Well done young lady. Excellent job. It is much appreciated. I went to this Nordstrom rack location when it first opened and I had the pleasure of meeting Malik who is one of the associates that work there. He came up to me while I was shopping and asked me if I needed help with anything and we proceeded to talk for a little bit and he absolutely made my day. He was so kind and welcoming. He is a true asset to your company and I’ve worked in customer service before, training associates for another retail company and I can tell you he sets the bar exceptionally high! If I still worked there I would try to steal him from you (haha)! The store was very clean, well organized and I found so many great deals. I can’t wait to go back and I’m thankful I’ve made a new friend to visit when I come shop as well. He would make a great store manager and it was a breath of fresh air to meet someone like him who exudes such positive energy when a lot of associates seem like they don’t want to be bothered with you. Apart from the store being upkept nicely customer service is lacking by far the worst. A older employee lady waited for my son to place a wrong makeup product in the bin next to it (same brand same product just different shade) just to rudely tell my son “don’t touch don’t mix up the product” I was right next to him the whole time mind you he is 4. She never smiled at me once or asked if I needed help. My son was highly uncomfortable afterwards bc of how rude she came off. As a mom I’ve never experienced this before. Just Silently do your job and don’t be rude or come off bossy. 2nd the cashier male didn’t even smile or made eye contact.
