I only like to leave great reviews, especially during Covid. Sadly, management needs to hear of the repeatedly awful service this evening for an establishment that we have previously loved to patronize. Not knowing if dining was going on or not (hard to keep up) we made a to-go order and upon pick-up, realized that dining was open. We asked the hostess if we could eat in instead and she said sure and to pick any table. I pointed to the one directly next to the hostess stand in the bar area and confirmed that table was ok and was again, told yes. I went to the closest employee to ask for some ranch and sauce. I was ignored for a bit and then given a dismissive attitude. Eventually the server comes to our table (no sauce in hand) and asks how we’re sitting there? I retold her the instructions I was given and the additional confirmation and was told that they have to seat people socially distanced. We had done so with only one other table with people. We offered to move if she needed, and we’re told no we were fine so I’m not sure why we needed the conversation anyhow...still no sauce from her and half way through our meal at this point. Finally, she returns with one sauce and said she’d be back with the other one. (Insert entitled attitude). We finally flagged down what was the waitress for that table and she now decided she needed to question us, too. So we explained yet again. With as dismissive an attitude as the first person, she eventually came back with a side of sauce and told us we should have gotten that with our food and we replied that we had asked for it and we’re told to ask for it when we needed it. I told her if she was upset that we were in her section that we left a hefty tip and she could probably pull that from our ticket as she was clearly annoyed and irritated that we asked her for a side of ranch. Having been a “server,” I served. If someone that at wasn’t my patron asked for something, I’d take care of them as I am a server. I serve. With what could have been addressed in-house, ie, ask the 2 people who sat us there rather than make us uncomfortable and treat us horribly. We dropped $60 ok 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. That will be the last time I need to pay for beyond-rude treatment. Even the people at the one other table in the room with us were laughing at the audacity of these employees. Step it up ladies and take care of your patrons. If you have internal questions, ask each other. No reason to involve and treat patrons like this and and for no reason as you didn’t want us to move anyhow? We haven’t been treated this rudely in quite some time. We try to have the upmost patience and support for local businesses but don’t tell me one thing and then send everyone to berate us. Its not busy, we offered to move if they wanted us to... So, the one star is for the cooks and the food. Negative stars for the...
Read moreOverrated and overpriced. We went to Emberz because of the great reviews and for the variety it offered. We had a party of 7 - 2 adults, a 16, 11, 10, and two 6 year olds. The hostess was very nice and seated us promptly. She also brought us all qaters right away, which was great because it was 100+ degrees. The restaurant itself has really cool ambiance and I dug the decor. Everything after that was mediocre at best. The server, while nice, was slow with basically everything. 2 of our waters never got refilled and were literally dry. The server brought the drinks for everyone but the twins but eventually got around to bringing them over. We had the loaded tater tots and some Emberz melted cheese dip as appetizers. The tater tots were not actually tater tots. They were fried round balls of mashed potatoes and didn't seem to be loaded with anything. The cheese dip was good but it was very heavy on the oil and white wine. I ordered one of the steak salads. In lieu of the steak actually having flavor, it was coated with some kind of chili flake. The salad was drowning in dressing and the steak was SUPER fatty. I took a picture of it for proof and will upload if possible. The 16 year old ordered the cajun shrimp pasta. It was bland and had no flavor. We both essentially left our meals on the the table. The 11 and one year old split the mac and cheese, which they both said was great and the other 6 year old seemed to like the pepperoni pizza, which was a good size for the child's pizza. My husband got the philly. He described the sandwich as, "ehh." He did say the garlic truffle fries were great. Here's the kicker - the 10 year old ordered a plain cheeseburger. The server brought out all of the meals EXCEPT his and told us it would be out in a couple minutes. We were half way through with our meal when he finally got his burger. But he did like it and it was a good size burger. We get the check and an 18% gratuity was added on, which i wasn't expecting for a party of 7, most of whom were children and certainly not when the service was as lacking as it was here. A lesson learned $160 later. We definitely won't...

He gave me a comfortable and soft booth to sit in and as soon as I sat down I was given a cup of water 💧 with a handle attached to it. Very convenient in my opinion. The place was just very welcoming ☺ 😊. My order was taken pretty fast too. I was indecisive between one of the best pizzas that I had there before and the Portobello Mushroom. I orderd the burger with fries. It was a burger with melted pepper jack cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, a juicy beef patty and a hard brioche bun. The fries were a little cold, but since everything else was perfect I didn't mind about that part. As an extra drink I ordered Jone's Root Beer 🍺. I took my sweet time that was given to by my recent paycheck. I finished and cleaned everything on my plate. I was very satisfied and delighted. I had a great lunch really. The best part of my lunch was of course the melted pepper jack cheese flowing in my mouth. Amazing 👏 🙀 😮 😲. And because everything about this visit was that good when I went to pay with the server I made the surprising decision to give her a $10 tip. Which made my meal costing upwards to 30$. Pretty fancy place if you ask me. Good music playing. Which in the end I thought was okay since I was just paid. I'm gonna come back here again soon. Thank you guys so much.
And if I had the chance to, I'd give you a 7 star review,...
