First time at this store, best staff I’ve seen at any game store wasn’t super busy at the time I went on Saturday. First off Justin is the best, he recommended the gold 500 pro from plantronics, I originally only needed a mic but I’m glad he convinced me. If you don’t have an dobly atmos headset this is the one to get for 80 bucks it’s the best deal on the market can’t find these anywhere else from what I can tell not even amazon. When I put these headphones on it instantly changed how I game! Sounds I’ve never heard before not to mention the sounds you do hear is significantly improved good luck to those trying to sneak up on you when playing battlefront or any first person shooter like that game. Trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed in other words, GET THIS HEADSET ASAP! Otherwise your just a noob in my book. I also got a chat pad for xbox one however what I got was a chat pad for xbox 360. Not an issue they will exchange this with no problem and yes the label said xbox one. I can’t honestly blame the store for this as it was probably theft of some kind or some kid thinking he’s funny. Regardless best gaming need buying experience I had. Justin asked me what I was looking for what my needs where and then recommended what he thought was best! HE WAS RIGHT! If you do buy anything from game stop go to this store don’t bother with any other GameStop as Justin is the man to see. Also get the warranty can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten mad or simply dropped a disk, controller and was out the cost but not with game stops warranty if it breaks you get a new one free of cost just bring it in. Read moreThe people at the store were fine. Indeed they were very apologetic that they couldn't actually help me. But I would not recommend buying anything from Gamestop that you can't get in your hands the day you purchase it. If you purchase anything through the store they will be shipped from somewhere else, be prepared for disappointment. Their customer service is one of the worst I've ever seen. My son ordered a black series Darth Vader helmet. He paid in cash in the store. And when they shipped him a helmet, with the correct item name, he opened it to find an iron Man Marvel Legends helmet. While he was impressed with this helmet, nothing bad about this one at all, it was not what he had ordered. When I called customer service, while courteous, the employee said all they could do was give me expedited return shipping and they would expedite the shipment of the correct product. This was over 3 weeks ago. I returned the helmet through FedEx as quick as I could. About 3 days after that conversation. We have still not seen the helmet. And their customer service lost out on a really good opportunity to make a lifetime customer of my son and me. Instead of, sucking it up and telling us that we could keep it, they said all they could do was exchange the product. And, when we've tried to get just a refund, so that my son can buy it from a reputable shipper like amazon, there has still been no movement. Their customer service also sucks at returning calls. ::EDIT - 1 year later:: Went in to look around. The clerk, Brittany, was quite unpleasant. I carefully pulled an item forward on a locked peg to get a better angle to read the package, and I hear, "Dont RIP that off the wall, its locked!" In a very short-tempered tone. Shortly after, a kid and his parents returned to ask about a game, and she retorts, "I already told you we don't have that here. I gave your dad a paper with the address to the store that does have it, ok!?" And with that, they leave, with me short behind them. Not sure I'll be shopping at this location anymore.
::Yet another edit:: So, I feel like I need to update my review again, especially concerning the above-mentioned employee, Brittany. I decided to go back to this location because it is closest to my house, and therefore more convenient. The last 3 times I have been there, This employee has been working. I dont know if she stumbled upon this review and became embarrassed, but she has been wonderfully polite, friendly, and helpful each and every time. Just goes to show that you cant base your entire opinion on a store location based on one employee's apparent bad day.
