Nordstrom Rack — Local services in South Portland

I am disappointed to see that others, no matter HOW great the reasoning.. (and I'm sure they're all Wonderful, wonderful excuses), believe that Their excuse is good enough to potentially put others at risk. We all understand that the Doctor is with you on not wearing a mask.. but, with all due respect, the virus you might unknowingly transmit doesn't know this. If you can't protect yourself.. or others.. for WHATEVER wonderful reason .. you just can't shop right now. It's not going to be forever.. just for right now. There are other ways to shop. By the same token, If you have screaming children in restaurants, and can't find a way to quiet them down.. you can either stay.. and completely smash the dining experience of others who paid to have a pleasant meal, and you can selfishly share your misery with the rest of the group.. OR... you could do the considerate thing.. and ask for your food to-go. Not EVERY good (even Great reason) is justification for destroying the shopping...

Love going here usually. I tried to go into the fitting room 30 mins prior to the store closing. I was told I was not allowed to try on clothes because there was a mishap with an employee (?) by the manager on duty and that fitting rooms were closed for the evening. I tried to nicely reason with the employees and was shut down. I have worked in retail for over 10 years and never heard of a store closing fitting rooms prior to closing for the evening. Store was fully staffed and still open for another 30 mins. There were several employees hanging out without a task, and three of them were in the fitting room. I am dumbfounded. I took my 5 year old daughter (who is dealing with severe anxiety since the death of her sister) birthday shopping today. It was a wonderful day - we went to target, the mall, and out to lunch. Everything was going great until we were denied entry into Nordstrom due to my child being medically exempt from wearing a mask (anxiety). The associate was rude and borderline aggressive as I tried to explain why my daughter was exempt. I even showed her a doctors note. I understand businesses have the right enforce the mask mandate but we have to use common...
