Interesting silent movie with organ music! The organist played for us for 2 1/2 hours, King of Kings, non stop, unbelievable, such talent, and he’s not a young man! Very reasonable $6, but the chairs are not particularly comfortable even though they do have some padding. Worth going for the experience...silent movies are fun and funny! Parking is limited so go early, park in the dirt lot not at the businesses lot.

Phantom of the Opera is the highlight of every October. We love this place. If you want to have an experience unlike anything else in Utah, and one of the few places in the world, go watch a silent movie at The Organ Loft. We've taken a bunch of different neighbors and every time it has been a hit. We look forward to going every year.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it was called The Organ Loft. My dad is Blaine Gale, one of the organists for their Silent Films- so I’ve seen them all and we have our family Christmas party there every year. The building is full of history and the movies take you back in time. I highly recommend booking in advance to see the original black and white “Phantom of the Opera” in October each year. Tickets always sell out fast, and it’s limited showings. But all the films are awesome, and if you want a unique cultured night out- this is it. It’s fun, entertaining, and...

Edison street theater is one of the lesser known gems of salt lake city. During the fall and winter they show silent movies with a live organist in house. It is an amazing and different experience to have with the rushing of air around you as the organ plays. It has become a favorite fall tradition for my wife and I.
