Please stop pushing the "Sign up for our credit card" bit so hard. Someone with the title "Coordinator" on their badge checked me out, and despite already saying no I wasn't interested in the card, they kept aggressively trying to get me to sign up or at least consider it. After putting the info pamphlet down on the counter, my partner and I both ignoring it, she pushed it once again, put it in the bag, and made sure to remind me to take a look at it since I could be "saving so much money". Let's just say that the pamphlet hit the trash before even leaving the store.
Considering how often I shop this chain (usually more than a few times a week at least), I get this spiel at most stores, but this was the most aggressive it's ever been. And likely from the person responsible for training everyone else on the floor to push the credit card sign ups too.
If someone says "no thank you," just accept it. Don't push any more. Read moreThis Marshalls & Homegoods is a GREAT one! It's very convenient and has a terrific selection! We were looking for some accent pieces - first went to the Reno location - and struck out - so we headed to this location in Sparks and hit a homerun! Two orange pillows, a leather footstool, a large accent wall clock, a sofa table and a wall piece! We did even better than we set out to do! Some of the shelves were a little bare thanks to Christmas - but all in all and successful trip!
Customer service was also a real plus here - we found a table with a missing tag and they immediately figured out the prices which was great - but the BEST GIFT OF ALL was ALEX! we lucked out getting him to help us with a rug that needed to be unhung and to help us out to our car with the table - he idid it all efficiently, and with a great big smile! what a charming kid - who is going to go far in life! Thank Alex! Marshall's is lucky...
Read moreWhen needed, the employees are always courteous and very helpful. ☺️ A problem I often have when looking through art and mirrors is that they fall everywhere and I spend much time trying to hold them upright. I feel like Jerry Lewis juggling - very awkward. That aside a great store to shop at.
(Hypothesis) The employees and management are all doing blow and making out in the back. This is why they are always smiling and their clothes are wrinkled. Jk , their clothing is always fresh and crisp, never a frumpled look in...
