I have never been so humiliated and disrespected in my entire life. Be very aware of entering into a store where they have hired hot heads without the cognitive ability to relate needs to customers. I had the employee a 20sometging who grabbed my cart to spin it around and told me the store is closing and im not allowed into the next aisle. This was a first to me. Never heard an announcement t that the store was closing I was 17 feet away from the emergency roadside sets I was buying for my mid 20 year old daughters. I asked the aggressive kid if I could grab two of them and we'd be happily on our way to check out. With his hands still on the cart he said now and started pushing it backwards. Where I come from we don't allow anyone to put their hands on us or the items we have control over so I resisted. He then said let me clock out and we can handle our business there. I then swung the cart to the rear and said seriously, well let's go. Then another manager came up to diffuse the situation. And all he did was make me look like I was in the wrong. The kid was still calling me names and inviting me outside. I asked the supervisor, wait my behavior is wrong, but your employee is allowed to threaten me and my life.? Wow what a messed up store. My wife was video taping the entire exchange from beginning to end. Spoke with the 2nd head manager and they were profoundly upset and promised the would deal with it. If I don't hear back by tomorrow on this as they promised I will seek legal help. Im in fear of taking my family to a place where hot-headed little boys at the end of a long shift can say and do what they want without the repercussions they so divinely need. Im thinking of heading to Costco Carson city.
Anyone else have negative interactions with the staff at Costco Sparks? If so, be sure to place them up here so that the corporate office can and will see exactly how these people behave. Shame on you Costco. SHAME ON YOU FOR HIRING PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING IN A FORM OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THIS GUY COMES AFTER ME AS HE SUGGESDTED. I WILL BE HOLDING COSTCO...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei usually have a good experience with kind workers at costco but lately iāve felt like iāve been targeted by them because iām a young woman. this hasnāt been the first time iāve had this issue either. one of my first experience which iām pretty sure was by the same worker was when i was holding a bunch of groceries in my arms and heading to self check out and she demanded my costco card even though she could tell my hands were full and wouldnāt let me put anything down. then today i came back because i got some bagels only a couple days ago and it had mold on it after i took a bite out of it and it was past the time to return. that wasnāt my issue and i understand their policy but it was more that the worker had a HORRIBLE attitude and didnāt even greet me but instead just said āreturn!?ā and interrupted me numerous times where i almost wanted to tear up because she was almost bullying me over BAGELS. like cmon costco, weāre better than this. she then demanded that i was unable to return them and told me to just throw them away. this was at 4:45 pm july 23rd. then on my way out, i watched as every other older customer got their carts lightly scanned over but ian made sure that he counted every single item and took out everything to make sure we paid for them. overall a terrible experience from costco workers today. felt targeted...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove Costco, but I went in to purchase the Poker table for my boyfriends Christmas gift. I was disappointed they didn't have any in a box. Only the floor model was left. I noticed there wasn't an * on the price sign , so I figured they would get more in before Christmas. I walked up to the customer service and asked when they expected more in. The supervisor said, "It's a deleted item, so what's out is what's left. I told her there was only the floor model left, she said she would inspect it for any damage, and then she could sell it. She came back and said she could sell it to me and gave me the full price verbally. I told her I was a Costco employee at another store in the past, and the store manager would ALWAYS mark down the floor model sometimes up to 1/2 off. She said she would ask the Mgr, and she came back and said he would give me 10% off. Dude, you're smoking crack! For something without a box and has been on display for several months. I've noticed the Reno store is a lot busier, but the Mgr that that store always marks items down and the Sparks store hardly ever. Even though the Sparks store is 10 mins from my house, I'd much rather shop in Reno and find the...
