I've been a massive Q fan for as long as I can remember. This visit has me questioning whether I'm ever going again.
EVERY visit to Qdoba in every location as far as Las Vegas and even Portland has been fantastic.
Therefore, it leads me believe that this location is the rotting apple. The staff was fine enough I guess, a little rude, but it was the food quality that was terrible - something I did NOT EXPECT.
I usually order the quesadillas, which are always crispy, melty perfection. Not this time.
I was not offered sour cream or guac, pico, fillings. Nothing. This is the only time this has ever happened. It's almost like they didn't care.
The final product was a dry hunk of pork, barely melted cheese slapped in between two plain tortillas. NOT EVEN GRILLED. DIsgusting. All of it for $15.76?? Seriously? The plain quesadilla I made for my 4-year old was more satisfying.
This is really shameful and I KNOW Qdoba can do better than this. Will I give Qdoba another chance? Probably not. Thanks Spanish Springs for ruining this...
Read moreI used to be a QDOBA customer, especially during college. Back then, QDOBA had the best food and better portion sizes than Chipotle. Last week, I decided to try it but was shocked by the amount of food I had in the bowl. I noticed that the portions started getting smaller over the years, but what I got in this location was the smallest. The spoons of rice and protein were not even complete, with half a spoon of beans and small amounts of pico and cheese. Even the lettuce portion was small. I noticed the attendants were very well calibrated regarding the portions. I was uncomfortable asking to add more food because the spoons were not even complete. I did ask the supervisor, who was working as a cashier, if there was any instruction from corporate or the owner to lower portions, and by her facial and body expression, I felt like there was. Unfortunately, QDOBA is not the same anymore. I'm sure other people had the same...
Read moreI recently went to Qdoba and decided to grab a burrito and a chicken bowl, expecting a satisfying meal. To my surprise, I paid over $10 for each item, only to receive portions that were surprisingly small. The burrito barely had any filling, and the chicken bowl seemed like it was missing half the ingredients. For the price I paid, I was expecting a much heartier serving, especially when other places in the same price range offer more generous portions.
With food prices rising, I understand that adjustments might be necessary, but Qdoba needs to reconsider their serving sizes if they’re going to charge premium prices. Customers expect to get their money’s worth, especially when they’re paying over $10 for what should be a filling meal. The experience left me feeling unsatisfied, and it’s disappointing because I usually enjoy their food. If they want to keep customers coming back, they should start by adding more food to...
