Came in for a graduation celebration, started feeling sick after just drinking the soda, maybe they don’t clean their machine or are using old syrup. I used to work at Red Robin Robin a little over a year ago, the soda never made me sick. Upon eating my food, my belly really started to hurt so we went home, I spent all Friday night and all day Saturday puking and having watery poops (tmi) but.. this has never happened to me eating Red Robin in the past. But this time was HORRIBLE! I will not be recommending Red Robin to anyone anymore, with also knowing how disgusting the kitchens are and how lazy management is. There was manager walking around the whole time just staring didn’t see him approach any table and ask how things are, which from what I remember from the Red Robin I worked at in Utah the managers frequently walk around and check things out . I worked at the one in Utah for over a year and became the lead trainer(can’t remember what there specific name for it was, because it’s been about a year and half since I worked)so I know there policy’s and how things are supposed to be. I had been staring in his direction for prob 5 min because I needed some refills that had been empty for 15 min+ only until we were paying and the waitress saw and then quickly brought the drinks, 2 in a Togo cup without lid and one in a regular cup. She had to much on her plate, I’f a waitress cant control and manage the amount in her section then don’t give her as many tables, other peoples tables will be dismissed and rarely checked on. The table next to us who ordered after us with the same waitress got there fry fills before we did, I asked for a sauce on my burger, she said it will be on the side is that okay and I said yes that’s great, didn’t get the sauce and couldn’t even get a persons attention for someone to grab it for us. The waitresses sucked and management sucked. My old manager had his quirks about him but he was never as bad as the manager I saw on Friday night. He was not welcoming, didn’t smile...
Read moreJust had my last meal at this location. When we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated, which we weren't expecting arriving at 4:45 pm, but it was a Friday, so I understand the potential it could have been busy. We have a 2 year old so we tried to go earlier to avoid crowds and get home sooner for him. However... when we were seated at our table, there were only 3 other tables filled around us and the rest of the restaurant looked fairly empty so we were confused about the long wait. Our server took our order for drinks, appetizers and food. Drinks and appetizers came out fairly quickly and we had no complaints, qnd during this time the restaurant was getting busier, as expexted on Friday night. But as time kept passing we were seeing no sign of our main food. While our server came by a couple times and said our food would be out shortly, we were getting incredibly frustrated, especially when we realized it had been over an hour since we were initially seated at our table. Our server also came by and wordlessly set a basket of fries on the table, I guess to tide us over while we waited? Our toddler was getting very restless so we ended up flagging down another server to request for our food to come out in to-go boxes because we couldn't keep waiting any longer with a frustrated toddler.. Our food appeared just after that, and we were given to go boxes to box up our own plates. In the midst of packing up to go, there was apparently a birthday being celebrated across the restaurant... one of the staff members let out an ungodly shriek which was supposed to gain the attention of the customers, but it was so shrill and startling we thought someone had been horribly injured. Overall, not a great experience, and the food we waited so long for was definitely not worth it. We will not...
Read moreSuch high praise for the Sparks location. They really stepped up and made things right when Gruhub completely, 100% dropped the ball. We made an order thru Grubhub for the Sparks location. We got a text from our Grubhub driver stating "the restaurant lost the order". While tracking the driver thru Grubhub I noticed his vehicle was driving the opposite way of our house. It was only a few minutes later I got a call from the manager at Red Robin. He first apologized and then filled me in on what had happened when the driver attempted to pick up our food. The manager told me that he asked the driver to leave after verbally abusing his staff. The manager called Grubhub and requested a new driver which they said they could not do. Grubhub then continued to cancel our order without informing us of this. The manager then said we could either attempt to re-order thru Grubhub or they put the order together for curbside pickup and they would take care of the bill (which they had no reason to offer). We chose to do curbside pickup and my wife headed down to pick it up. She called me from the parking lot of the restaurant and told me how crazy busy they were and how hard everyone was working, especially the 1 and only waitress running back and forth in the parking lot with bags of food. We truly appreciate the hard work and customer service provided by this great staff and management team at the Sparks Red Robin location. To make things right even when it wasn't there place to do so. With everything in a chaotic state right now it's nice to still find people and businesses willing to step up and do the right thing. Thank you to all the staff and management at the Red Robin,...
