Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Sparks

I rarely take the time to write a bad review. I normally only write positive reviews. However my experience here yesterday (Memorial Day) was so poor, I felt the need to write one. I ordered an iced coffee and a bagel toasted with cream cheese. The coffee was great and came out quickly. I knew it was going to take a while to get my food given that the lobby was FULL of people. I figured 10-15 min max. Well, I was there for over 40 min waiting for a bagel with cream cheese.

I eventually asked for a refund for the bagel because I had no more time to waste. They were very helpful and accommodating with the refund. They had SO many mobile orders and DoorDash that I don’t think they could keep up with those orders let alone in store orders. The employees didn’t seem to be working efficiently or multi tasking. I truly hope upper management reads this review and takes it to heart. I grew up going to Einstein’s in Oregon and I was so excited about it coming to Sparks. However after my poor experience I am hesitant to go again.

I believe you can turn off accepting door dash orders? Might consider doing that if you can’t keep up. But people who order in person shouldn’t be pushed...

We came in at 11 on a Thursday, two people party. Sparks, NV location. They were out of bagels, there were some cinnamon and blueberry bagels left, out of eggs and other things. There was no room to sit down anywhere inside, no tables outside. We purchased 2 lox bagels, we were not asked "if you would like it toasted" question - our fault for not thinking of all scenarios possible. So we received two cold bagels with 2 pounds of cream cheese on each. And I dont mean "not toasted" cold, they were like out of the fridge cold. May be we will come back in 5 years so "this location is new" excuse can pass. But it was worse experience than getting grocery store bagels. Other customers' orders were messed up so the staff was apologetic and confused, bumping into each other. I was hoping to actually find a choice of bagels when visiting bagels shop whose whole identity runs on selling bagels. It was 11 am, they are open till 2pm, not sure what they were selling for the rest of the day, but it was not bagels. Good luck and hopefully I'll be able to buy a bagel...

This place is literally a joke. All teenagers no adults. Says alot right there. Actually there was one adult smoking outside in the back while the line was basically out the door. Don’t order online because when you show up there going to tell you they don’t have your order nor name in there system. Then proceed to argue with you that you didn’t placing your order. Even though we have the conformation in our hand! Then say oh we already gave out to someone and act like it was our problem. So now we have to wait an extra 20 mins for our food which they messed up! also can’t forget all the people who kept coming back in because they messed up their order as well. Even after bringing the situation up they still felt the need to make my food last after there breakfast rush and somehow was still cold. Didn’t offer anything to us for being such an inconvenience either. COME HERE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A...
