Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Spartanburg

We ordered a custom-made suite from this store. When the suite was finished, the pant leg length was just about 1/2 inch too short. The clerk took the measurement and told us to pick it up in two weeks. When we got back, the pants had one leg shorter than the other. One leg was about 3 inches too short and the other was about two inches too short. They measured again and told us to come back the next week. We tried to be understanding, although it made no sense to me. When we got back to pick up the suit today, they still had one leg shorter than the other and both legs were too short. We are sitting here while they are trying to correct the hem again. They said they could do it in 20 minutes. There was not enough material in the hem to let it out the 3 inches needed. These people are making a mess. They finished while I was typing this and I was correct. They let them out, but they are still too short and one leg is shorter, although not as much shorter as before. These are suppose to be professionals, but I could have done better and I do not sew. I've bought two suits at this store in the past year. The first experience was last year this time and it was great. A young blonde tall woman and late 40s guy helped me, I wish I remembered their names. This trip was ok, I guess. The guy did his job but his mannerisms and attitude made me feel like him helping me was a burden. He asked if he could help me and I said yeah I'm buying a suit and gave him my group number. He just walked away and I stood there waiting and he went to the cash register and started typing stuff in and just stared at me so I walked over and he started asking me questions. Then he walked away again to grab pants and a jacket and just stood in the back. Never prompted me to come with him or anything and acted bothered that I just didn't follow him around. I don't know the process well. End of story, we checked out and he said we'll call you when it comes in. Seems like you'd want your employees to make people want to come shop there. I really wish I could give them negative stars. First, we were told since we had more than 6 people renting my fiance could choose between store credit, his rental free, or a free custom suit - he opted for the custom suit. Later they told us we could not qualify for the custom suit. Secondly, The day BEFORE our wedding we pick up his garments and get home -- completely wrong!! They had given us someone else's rental. They agreed to meet us halfway in exchange for the correct rental. We finally get his correct rental and the measurements were completely wrong, the arms of the jacket were at least 2 inches too short. After thinking nothing else could go wrong, the day OF the wedding -- the groomsmen are getting ready and one was missing a bow tie!! After informing them this is the 2nd time they had messed up our rental order and we are getting married in 2 hours, they bring the bow tie to the venue. WOULD NEVER RENT FROM HERE AGAIN!!!
