Update 5-22-2020. James the regional manager has finally contacted me regarding this issue and he was unaware that the issue was ongoing. He immediately took care of everything in less than a half hour. I also want to say that Christina gas went above and beyond for us. The store manager sommara is a very bad manager and should be fired. She will lie straight to your face and will not do anything to help her customers. All she cares about is hustling you out of money. Thank you James and Christina! You guys are great! Sommara i hope you get fired! You need to learn better customer service skills and play the honesty game!
UPDATE 5-18-2020 stopped by store today to find out if we have come to a solution and still get the run around about this ghost of a regional manager that is supposed to call me! Store manager still says the same thing. Our regional manager is on vacation. Does this guy ever work? I asked if there was anyone else i can talk to and the store manager said no. All the staff there at this location are liars. Worst management and most disrespectful business i have ever seen. Corporate needs to get rid of these employees and start new. In the end i get kicked out of the store and told to not come back. I feel like i have been completely lied to and my money robbed from me! This place is a joke!
Wish there was an option to give 0 stars. I bought a samsung sound system that I absolutely loved. One day the head unit quit working. Still under warranty and i was paying payments still. I brought it back into Aaron's to have fixed. That was over two months ago and i find out that parts are not available. Now the sound system is paid off. I have tried to work out a compromise to remedy the money i have in the sound system but all i get is the run around that they can only give me fair market value which is $1200. They have offered me a pre leased phillips 75” tv that comes with no warranty and i would have to pay an extra $600. Walmart sells exact tv for that and it comes with a warranty plus its new. I currently rent my sofa set through Aarons and have regretted every month of my lease. I've made my payments every month for a year and a half and paid off another account during this time. The furniture is cheap and the employees I've had to deal with are a complete joke. Especially at this location. An late payment will result in numerous phone calls during your work day and employees showing up at your home whenever they like, even 9:30 PM! After setting up an arrangment, they were calling me 8:30 the day of the arrangement, knocking on my door before I could even get home from work. The payment was made online, but their system apparently doesn't update right away. Calling to set up a payment arrangement is even unbearable. The employees are either trained to treat you poorly during these unforeseen circumstances rather than being understanding that sometimes payments are late OR their employees simply lack proper customer service skills. The one time I called to make an arrangement, the store manager made me reassure her, a few times, of the date and time I'd be in to make my payment in a manner that made me feel less than and I really didn't appreciate the tone she used during that transaction. It made me extremely uncomfortable and that led to me not wanting to answer any phone calls from Aarons OR to call Aarons to make an arrangement. I do understand that business is business, but I think a revised process on how to handle late payments should be implemented and idk, maybe a whole new staff? I am a Washington state resident and bullying customers to paying a debt is illegal, and your north store is pretty heavy on strong arming. And then you have people like Larry working for you. If that Larry ever steps foot on my proerty again there will be repercussions. I have paid off everything I have rented from your store. I have have paid off a washer and dryer set. I have paid off a mattress set and getting ready to pay off the frame and a laptop. I will not tolerate one of YOUR employees coming to MY home and yelling at me for being 1 day late on a payment and heaven forbid it was due to a holiday that stopped my direct pay that week. My customer file shows that I have always paid the money owed to Aarons.
