I have been following @Burger809 on Instagram for a while now. I finally went to check them out on Mother’s Day 2020. We called and ordered 30 minutes in advance and they brought the food out to our car curbside (during quarantine). The young lady who brought our food out was super nice and even went back in to grab us a lemonade. Everything we needed was included with our food I cannot tell you how often we don’t get napkins or plastic ware on these curbside orders.
Of course I was too hungry to take a pic before I ate (story of my life). The pictures I posted are of the dishes we ordered from their Instagram and our meal did look just like the pictures.
The burger was on a sourdough bread with a bacon jam and grilled onions. It was so good and had the perfect balance of a tad bit of sweet. I love burgers and I don’t think I have ever had burger like this. My husband had the chicken wings and blue berry waffles. It was the best chicken and waffles I have had it was not your standard plan fried chicken. My burger came with greens and it was very tasty and piping hot (in temperature), which was perfect since no one liked...
Read moreBurger 809 is no ordinary burger joint. It’s a sophisticated eatery where culinary mastery and southern roots are showcased through an American classic. This restaurant has many delicious options, so here’s a few of my favorites. I love the Burger 809 Signature slider, and it comes garnished with bacon jam. I add sautéed jalapeños for a bit of heat. If you’ve never tasted a salmon slider, this is your chance to experience it (10 out of 10). For my side, I go for the greens. They’re the best greens I’ve ever eaten. They’re seasoned to perfection; words simply don’t to do them justice…but if you think greens don’t pair well with a burger, then you’re in for a surprise. You won’t regret it. Another favorite is the mac n’ cheese. It’s a staple. They also have delicious fresh baked cookies and lemonades. Lastly, the service and atmosphere are unmatched. I highly...
Read moreCame around 1 pm on a Sunday and I thought it was weird they weren’t too busy because it’s peak lunch hour. I shortly found out why. Paid 15 dollars for the brunch burger with a side (I got a very small cup of fruit) and 4 more dollars for lemonade. As soon as I picked up my burger the meat split into 4 different sections which made it hard to eat and every few seconds I had to pick up a piece of the meat and put it back on the burger. Also disappointed with how small the fruit cup was.. as well as the lemonade. I don’t think what I got for 15 was worth it at all. 11-12$ seems more fair for it. The bread on the burger was really good, and so was the lemonade, I just don’t think it’s worth the price I paid. Especially with the falling apart burger. So I’m giving 2 stars for that. As well as the...
