Visited this location as a walk in. No barber moved with any urgency or consideration for waiting customers. I waited nearly 2 hours and within that time frame only 1 waiting customer was served. A parent walked in and a brief conversation with a barber and her child was able to jump the line. I assume they were late for an appointment. I observed the finish result of a served customer and can say it was done very well. I recommend they operate on appointments only because 2 hours is too long of a wait and keep in mind the maximum time for a parking meter is 2 hours so you risk getting a parking ticket, like I did, if youāre waiting nearly 2 hours and getting a cut for however long. Our regular barber in Soulard was out sick so we couldn't get to our appointment. I called J's and we walked in. It did take about 10 minutes of waiting but HIGHLY WORTH THE WAIT! ā¤ļø My son is very figgity and the young barber showed amazing patience and skill far beyond his years. I'm retired Army and know a great fade when I see it and this place is absolutely amazing.
