My experience with the EEOC has been deeply disappointing. This agency is supposed to uphold justice, yet I encountered delays, coercion to weaken my claim, and a lack of integrity in the investigative process. Instead of ensuring a fair and thorough investigation, my case was mishandled in ways that raise serious concerns.

One investigator attempted to discourage my claim, pressured me to amend key details in a way that favored the employer, and took only 17 minutes to collect evidence—an alarming red flag for any serious investigation. When I pushed back and documented everything, it became clear that transparency was not the priority.

Justice should not be something you have to beg for. The EEOC has an obligation to hold employers accountable, not shield them. If you are filing a case, document everything, escalate when necessary, and do not assume they are working in your best interest.

Please call the Washington D.C location. I waited for months for an intake call. I took the day off as well. I’m a government employee. The intake associate called me with an attitude. They were reading from a script. No interpersonal skills whatsoever. I asked the intake associate for a new appointment with a new intake associate. I was told flat out no. I tried to call the St. Louis office the next person answers from home with arguing in the background and a baby crying. She picked up the phone and asked WHO THIS. I ask her about the unprofessional approach. She hangs up on me then calls me back, saying she’s going to cancel my claim. Wow just wow. Please call EEOC...

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! CANCELLED ON ME AFTER WAITING OVER 4 MONTHS FOR A DAMN PHONE INTERVIEW?????? WHY IS THE E.E.O.C. EVEN AROUND? MAYBE DONALD TRUMP SHOULD SHUT THEM DOWN TOO BECAUSE THEY DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR THE COMMUNITY!!! PERIOD!!
