Staples — Local services in Stamford

Writing on 12/29/23 I went in to return an Amazon packet today and there were two associates working the shipping center - the older man working there was completely rude to a customer who obviously did not speak English well- and instead of trying to help explain the process of shipping and of the receipt, he rudely asked “What do you want” upon initial interaction. Once the man explained he was shipping something out, the associate took the forms from the man, packaged them, handed him the receipt and walked away without saying anything. The customer, who was obviously using shipping services for the first time, was waiting for some type of confirmation that he was all set when the associate turned around and said “What are you doing? Bye bye you go bye bye now. You don’t have to pay for anything bye bye bye bye.” while waving his hand. Completely and utterly disgusting behavior. Highly disappointed with the behavior of this associate and his lack of empathy and friendliness as with the next customer he completely changed his demeanor into an outgoing and friendly one. Please consider hiring people who will actually DO THEIR JOBS and not let their beliefs affect the type of service a...

I don't know what is wrong with this place. I unfortunately use them for Amazon returns. The people they place there are just rude. They roll their eyes when you ask for a return receipt. How else will you have proof, especially when Amazon emailed me that they didn't get my return and I had no proof of the return. Secondly, the man there, hates if you have more than 1 return..lol. so I scrolled to the first return ,he scanned it, then I had to scroll again to find the code for the second return but he was visible annoyed and says " you should have your return codes ready". What???? Has he never shopped/ returned to a store for Amazon. They have free returns so I got there but each time I cringe. They are getting paid to do their job whether at the Amazon return counter or elsewhere in the store so I don't know why the terrible attitude. It's the older man with the glasses and a younger guy who are completely obnoxious. He once gave me a return receipt which had 2 items on it when I returned only one! They just don't care at all

I usually love Staples. This one, in the middle of Stamford CT, could use some help. Went in to use the shipping facilities. A couple in front of me were shopping several boxes. A young woman wanted to move me to a different location so I could be taken care of sooner. The older man, who seemed to be supervising, in the meantime, helped 3 people who came in after I did. She's great; he needs a new job. He ended helping me anyway and his demeanor was so far from 'help' I should use a different word. I got my box shipped and UPS has confirmed it will be delivered. It just shouldn't have taken a half hour. Wait until you see the review I wrote for you from the sales slip comments,...
