Chase Bank — Local services in Stillwater

Do NOT visit or do business with this branch. I have been disrespected and treated incredibly rudely on more than one occasion at this location, as the workers here are ignorant and falsely assumed I was an international student instead of a U.S. citizen, simply because I wear a hijab!! This happened on THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS - I was asked for my I-20 form, which I do not possess since I am not an international student, instead of my U.S. passport. When I confronted the workers about this, they barely apologized and didn't seem that sorry. I complained to the supervisor on duty, and she promised to take care of the issue. I hope she did and that no one experiences these microaggressions. The bankers will try to cut your appointments short, even if you have it scheduled ahead of time, and always made me feel dumb. I tried to file a complaint on the national hotline but they are all robots and couldn't get...

Not even a few months into this account and my deposits have undergone extensive statutory preauthorization. Very frustrating to have funds, but not be able to access them. I understand that preauthorization exists for various transactions, but I am depositing checks from easily verifiable sources under $5000. I was told that they would speed up the process and call me by the end of the day. No call.

This does not seem like a genuine Chase branch to me. The staff are friendly but unable to resolve the simplest account problems. So many times now I have had problems with long-established accounts, then Chase phone representatives tell me to go into the branch, and the staff here are completely clueless. This seems to be simply a sales office to open accounts for students. Any other bank in Stillwater would be better...
