Mix the best policy from Starbucks (If we don’t make it right, let us know and we’ll fix it for free) with the charm of a very local coffee shop (extremely friendly staff and atmosphere) and you get The Daily Grind. It’s located inside Hideaway, and has a lot of the charm that Hideaway does. Miss Ginger bakes muffins, cookies, and scones (I think... The hours are limited in the summer; you might phone them first or Google it. The coffee is outstanding. Some coffee starts to taste bad because the workers don't clean the machines often enough or thoroughly enough. Coffee has an oil which can go rancid and leave a bad taste on the machine. The Daily Grind cleans their machines perfectly and often, so you never get a bad cuppa anything. The service is friendly and professional. This is the best place to get coffee...

Ginger and her team are a delight to see every visit, and it's a great location with a long view of the corner where campus meets town and the old firehouse. The coffee is great, too.
