Stock Rock Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

My family and I were in a search for a place to eat when I came across the Stock Rock Cafe menu on their website. The menu looked great, so we took a 20 minute walk pushing a stroller to try it out. We were pretty disappointed with what we found. The laminated menu we were handed was nothing like the website and half of the items had been crossed off of it. I asked on of the cooks in the food truck about the menu since their website was advertising taco Tuesday and tacos weren’t even an option on the menu we were give. He told me they don’t have tortillas to make tacos and that the website and menu were from the previous owners. We tried the fish and chips and fried chicken sandwich since we had just walked 20 minutes to dinner and the next closest place was another 15 minute walk. Don’t come here. I found this restaurant on a Key West Facebook page. The atmosphere was nice. We ordered our food and paid upfront. We were served burnt conch fritters and a BLT with 1 piece of bacon. We planned on leaving a tip at the end (based on the food and service as we would normally do) but when I brought the burnt conch fritters back up to show the cashier, a belligerent man at the bar yelled profanities at me because we didn’t tip her (even though we weren’t even done). He was verbally abusive. The cashier/waitress didn’t say anything or ask him to leave. It was clear that they had probably been talking about this. I have seen great things on social media and heard great things about there taco Tuesday special. I went in on taco Tuesday to find a very busy and short staffed establishment. No host to greet us so we sat ourselves. Waitress stopped by saying she would help us. 25 minutes later we still hadn’t been helped. Finally had to go to the kitchen to ask for someone to take our order. The service significantly improved after this. The waitress who attended us was very nice and put in our orders quickly. Some of the food we got was still messed up but it was fixed relatively quickly. Seems like they just need a good front of house manager.
