I am very disappointed in the service I received or did not receive I should say.
1.My sister and I walk in to someone standing and speaking,we awesome she works thier but it appeared she was leaving and a co-worker wished her well on her upcoming wedding. As I stood their and realized they were carring on a personal conversation and not waiting to greet or service us, I quickly scanned the store and found what my sister originally came into the store for.
As we are standing in the area, I watched how many people were working that day. Enough to ask if we needed any help. As my sister looked for a mirror to see the color match of an item and after us trying to find a shade, for enough time for someone to ASK if we were ok.
I begin to walk around the store. I notice a pair of eyes viewing me from 4 isles away!!! But no,they avoided my eye contact and begin to look around.
I then begin to stroll the store. What all does this store have, I wonder...still no one asked me anything. By this time I have left my sister who has a bag and about $100 worth of makeup in her bag. I let her shop and did not want to share my growing anoince.She had a question and no one to ask it to, in a fully staffed store!
I make it to the salon where I was surprised to see. Not only was I unaware of the salon, but I was not aware of what type of services were offered.
..........There was a worker who spoke of an ugly boss.....my issue, is why are u carrying on a conversation about your boss soooooo close to a customer. But I then realize maybe they don't see me because he began showing pics from a phone which seems more important than helping customers. Then a beautiful lady in the salon sees that I have questions and begins to update me on all that I ask. I am still turned off about the look on the stylist face who seems to have an issue that I want to view her work while she is actively working with a client. A comment is then said between phone guy and stylist and a giggle is had...now is that gigle about me I don't know but as a customer I felt it was rude and I should not even need to wonder.
Then to top it off as I am having a conversation with the beautiful salon lady...the phone guy says she looks like someoone from a movie....but it was not a flattering comment. He loudly laughs and then walks off. I informed her that I was now turned off and I walked away from the counter.
My sister realizes that I am ready to go and she puts her things down and we leave.
I actually can't even say it was because I was black because a few of these employees are of my same skin tone. I will just say CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT A PRIORITY AT THIS...
Read more⚠️Three ppl in 1 row stocking near where I'm looking for an advertised item. I wait and say, "Excuse me.." no one will look at me. I wait... nothing. Head back to the front to the register and ask the cashier where an item is I can't find in the titled area. She says nothing and turns from me to look at someone else I didn't see. A masked woman approaches and says something I don't understand. I say hello, can you help me find this item. I show her a picture. She replies, but I can't understand her. She walks fast. I try to keep up and can't. (On a cane) I finally get to her spot and she's already talking so I arrived mid speech. I asked her what she said and she wants to Take my phone. I turned it so she could see the picture and she saw it and said, "yeah, I dont know why it says we have it on sale right now, we don't have it right now and it's not even in an area we would stock." that's all I got, she kept turning her back to me and talking, with the mask it was useless. I waited and asked if she could order it. "NAH, I DONT GET WHY WE DONT HAVE IT THOUGH WE HAVE IT ADVERTISED ON SALE." And with that she's gone. I say, Okay well can we order it, but she's too far gone. The row of 3 ladies counting stock are inches from me. No one says anything. I smiled realizing it's been yrs since I've been in this store. I recall why. I'm on a cane. So I walk the slow pace back to the front door. There's no customers in this store, just me as I walk back to the front. No one says a word. Bye, i said, thank you. Silence.... 🎯 where has customer service gone? They'll try harder to write a response to a review, than rather give their best when you're actually IN the store. Just use the time it would take to write a response, and train your staff on...

I’ve never felt so embarrassed to began with before even starting my transaction I told the cashier “I’ve gotten approved of a credit card at ulta so I’ll be adding stuff little by little to see my total bc I don’t want to over spend” so as I’m adding she goes to whisper to another employee and they both turn to stare at me. By then I start to feel uncomfortable. I finally tell her ok may I show you my id bc I was approved but haven’t received my card in the mail she then goes to whisper to the manager and the they both turn that’s 3 people already by then I’m totally embarrassed it almost felt like they thought I was stealing. The manager is like no I can’t process a payment with u not having your ultacard which is odd bc the ones that get approved in store can purchase without their card. As the manager is talking she’s rude and says well show me the screenshot you were approved which I did then she just rings it up without even letting me know she honestly could of done it to began with without lying saying I had to have my ulta credit card. I proceeded to tell her I had points on my account can I use those she said no I rang you up already ( in a rude way). ( I called corporate by the way to confirm that all they needed was my id). I work in a business with customer service and to be treated in such matters is horrible which leads me to think where the manager got their training no wonder why their employees are the way they are .
