Main Bird Hot Chicken - Sugar Land — Restaurant in Sugar Land

I went to the “Main Bird” located on University Boulevard today to celebrate my brother’s graduation. I ordered my food @ 2:45 p.m. and waited patiently. After watching several people that ordered their food after me receive their meals and desserts (people that were apart of my party and people that were apart of different parties), I proceeded to ask the cashier (Kaelyn P) about my food several times. After awhile, she finally came up to me and asked me for my receipt because they had missed my order. There was no apology. I received my food almost 30 minutes after ordering while the party I was with was already wrapping up eating. Again there was no apology nor any effort to deescalate the situation after I expressed that I was displeased. The cashier’s response was, “I don’t have anything to do with it [when I expressed that I was displeased and brought up the idea of some type of incentive for THEIR mess up]. You’ll have to talk to the owner.” However, “the owner was not present at the time”, so she proceeded to give me an email. Again, there was no apology. I am displeased with how the cashier handled the whole situation. It was evident that she did not care by not only her tone and response, but also her body language. So it was no surprise that warning bells did not go off sooner than what it did when it was evident that I was the only at my table that did not have food, kept looking around for my order and even asked her if the food that she was bringing out was mine. This will be the last time that I will eating at this location.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to Mohammad's exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, Mohammad greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile that set the tone for the entire evening. He was attentive without being intrusive, anticipated our needs, and his recommendations were spot on—truly elevating our dining experience.
