I want to say a special thank you to Monica as well as the jeweller who did an exceptional job in repairing my gold chain. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience on check out. Monica was not present and the woman who I dealt with had a bit of an attitude. I walked into the store and stood there and noone greeted me or said they would be with me shortly. I was only attended to because the store clerk who is the subject of this complaint eventually passed in front of me to get something. At that point i told her i was there to collect. She asked if anyone called me, i told her no. She told me if it was ready i would have received a call. I told her that was told to come back in an hour and she asked my name and located item. The repair was such that, or perhaps it was so neatly repaired, that it was hard to detect the repair. So after inspecting it myself i asked the store clerk if it was repaired. She basically said it wasn't her job and therefore she couldn't say whether it was repaired or not. I tried to explain the nature of the repair to her, and she began to literally yank (pulling at it on both ends) at the chain. She then asked me to yank at it as well and I declined telling her it's okay and that I would like to pay and go. I insisted i would like to pay and leave . She then called another worker asking her to yank at the chain as well. I found it improper that she was tugging at a chain that was recently glued. I didn't want to unstick or undo the jewellers hard work. Overall she made me feel like she didn't value me as a customer. I eventually was able to pay, but left feeling dejected and would not patronize again. I did not notice her being as rough as she was with me to other customers and I do not think that my request was...
Read moreWe went to Designers Jewelry Collection a couple of months ago right before Christmas. It has been a staple in the Oasis at Sawgrass for so many years, so we decided to go there. My husband and I have been married for 26 years; my original ring was very 90's gold, slanted setting with a marquis diamond solitaire and some small baguettes. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of gold anymore so I hadn't worn my ring for almost 10 years. We thought about dipping the ring or resetting it for a long time. We met Michael and his amazing staff… they were all so nice seriously just really nice people, I can't say enough great things about them. Michael has unbelievable patience, he went over different settings that complimented the diamond and had an amazing collection to choose from. We noticed he took an interest in getting to know us and he cared about us making the right decision, a new setting was a no brainer after 26 years! We were thrilled with the setting it was a gorgeous platinum setting with baguettes my diamond looks stunning now! Within a week my ring was ready! And my husband got a new wedding band to match mine. One step further my "old" gold setting I didn't want to part with was dipped and set with a light blue stone which I can use as a cocktail ring that was Michaels idea! I haven't seen it yet, it's been ready but just haven't had a moment to run by there I have no doubt in my mind it is amazing! Michael thank you and your beautiful staff for an amazing...
Read moreMonica and Vivian are awesome. They helped my Charles pick out the perfect ring and a stone for the engagement ring. The wedding band was included in the price and made for a very reasonable cost for both. Their jewler is onsite which is a HUGE plus. He polished my grandmother's 50 year old diamonds and made sure they sparkled as brilliant as my engagement ring. He also resized my promise ring and polished it too. If you are looking for a quality and professional team this is the company and people to go with. Oh and I also purchased a beautiful diamond necklace too for our wedding day. My Charles proposed to me at night in the moonlight on the ocean. We could not ask for a more qualified company and team. Thank you to all who made our...
