I am at a loss for words after being profiled, disregarded, disrespected and cussed at by an employee. I visited the store Saturday, 3/1 around 6pm with my mother and two year old son. Upon entering the store we were immediately profiled by an employee that followed our movement as we browsed without any attempt to assist us. I went over to greet her and ask for help. She said “hello” but said nothing else, including any reply or response for my request for assistance. We left the store perplexed by the interaction but returned thinking there may have been a language barrier or some other confusion with communication. She stared at us as we returned and for the second time I approached her to initiate a conversation. I expressed how we may have gotten off to a bad start and I didn’t understand her lack of willingness to assist us. Instead, she rolled her eyes at me told me she did not have to help me. I wanted to address this with a manager but she told me she was the manager. She then proceeded to say she didn’t have to give me her name, the store number!
I’m not sure if seeing an African American family shopping was a cultural phenomenon or not but she is absolutely a liability for the company and I will be reporting her to corporate for discriminatory behavior and I will not let it rest until there is resolve. I spent many years of my life working in customer service before having the opportunity to be where I am today and I always took pride in my work. I was always pleasant and went out of my way to address customer’s concerns. If she doesn’t like her job there are hundreds more hiring. Spend your money somewhere worth it!

Read moreWow! I am beyond disappointed with my experience at this Calvin Klein store. As a big fan of Calvin Klein clothing, I expected better, but the customer service was absolutely terrible. The staff behaved as if they were doing me a huge favor just by being there. They looked at me with scowling faces every time I approached them, and I had to practically chase them around the store just to get a door opened for the dressing room.
The worst part was the cashier. Not only did they completely ignore any attempt at greeting, but they also threw receipts and packages at customers with utter disrespect. It was shocking to see such unprofessionalism — as if handling customers' belongings was a burden. There was zero willingness to help, and their attitude was dismissive and rude throughout.
I understand this is an outlet at Dolphin Mall, where prices are lower, but that doesn’t excuse such appalling treatment. Thousands of people shop here every day, and the company makes money from each sale. Yet, the level of disrespect and indifference I experienced is unmatched — I’ve never encountered anything like this at any other store in the mall. This kind of service is unacceptable from a brand like Calvin Klein.
