I have had a couple custom pieces made with them and my experience has been exceptional every time. They listen, communicate through the entire process and truly deliver a quality piece.

My first experience with them was after I went through a divorce. I brought my engagement ring, wedding band and a necklace from my grandma. I told them I wanted something I could wear for years, a combination of my rings and her necklace, something I could dress up and down and that was timeless. I trusted them to create just that and they did. It was perfect and actually made me emotional when I saw it for the first time. I wear the necklace almost every day and wear the earrings a lot too. I get compliments all the time!

Recently, I saw a ring I liked and wanted to make something similar. I actually met with a friend's jeweler before I met with them. The first jeweler asked me what size of stone I wanted, saw pictures, and didn't have many suggestions. I didn't know the size or what stone was best. I was looking to her for guidance since she was the expert. I just wanted to make something similar to the picture and was looking for her direction/guidance. Keep in mind, I was used to an exceptional experience at Vander Dys and went to see my friend's jeweler out of consideration to her. After that experience, I set an appointment with Vince at Vander Dys because I knew they would give me honest feedback and suggestions. I also knew the quality of their work. He knew exactly what size stone I would need that would fit best on my finger and gave suggestions on stone type and color for the halo. The direct feedback was refreshing and was exactly what I wanted. He told me he knew what I was looking for and he would send me a design. The design was spot on. I went forward with the process. The ring is finished and it is absolutely STUNNING!!!! They knocked it out of the park. My vision of the "the ring" was perfectly matched and their touch on the design took it to the next level!
