Last night 23 May 2024 (Thursday), should have been one night to celebrate and be remembered as an accomplishment of dedication and hard work The Woodlands College Park high school graduates of Class 2024.
However, due to your parking lot policy and handling of Security Guards at the Market Street TARGETING senior high school students with Graduation Robe on as well as parents with gifts and flowers on their hands, SECURITY GUARDS decided to wait until they walked off the parking lots and called towing companies to get many vehicles towed ending up costing over $$$$$.
I fully support and agree visitors should follow the Market Street parking policy. However, at the same time, being on a week day and many empty parking spaces were available at the parking garage and it’s not like visitors were trying to park their vehicles and go see some concerts at Pavilion, Management of the Market Street could have handledI the parking lot situations a lot better.
What gets me upset is the fact that SECURITY GUARDS decided to TARGET students with Graduation Robe and parents, instead of giving them warning or asking them not to park at first place, but almost like ENTRAPMENT, decided to wait and call the towing company!! As if these SECURITY GUARDS are getting a certain % of commissions with each vehicle towed!!
Most of the people who attended last night's Graduation event are frequent customers to the Market Street and based on how things were handled last night, I am full of disappointment/ dissatisfaction and consider think twice before visiting the Market Street...
Read moreII worked at the market street , And i understand that we have to park at the blue line and i do park in blue line if i am on duty. 4/11/2018 day off i went to shop and have my eye checked up , I spent 685$ on all the shop i made in Market Street that day., When i get back to my car i have i green sticker notifying me to get tow , the sticker that cannot be taken off from the glass. that will leave a mark on it. What if i stop working in Market street and have to go shop there again? are they still going to stick the sticker on it? I approach one of the securities and they said that it was an order from the Market Management. It was i Terrible experienced. My blood goes up all the way to my head. Yes i got the point we work in Market Street but we are also a customer during days off. You guys need to think of something else. If its a note only clip to the wiper it would be understandable, BUT GREEN STICKER ON YOUR WINDOW IS HARASSMENT! I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER! I JUST SPEND HUGE OF MONEY IN THE SHOPPING CENTER FOR A DAY! Because of this I am returning all the purchases i made and the reason is., I paid a lot of money for a day when i get back to my car i had a green sticker. I will tell the Store that I am not happy with my purchases because they dont have parking for paying customers like me. non- workers of Market Street would park their cars and buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks for 5$ ? i just spend 685$ . THINK!! MARKET STREET MANAGEMENT. Yep you just lost a...
Read moreI would give five stars for this is a wonderful neighborhood and place to eat, shop, relax and walk around. However the last 4-5 years there has been a shift in commercial choices that destroys the character and original quality and good standing of the place that made Market Street and the surroundings what it is. It’s value was that is so different from all the other neighborhoods which already exist and there are of standard quality. This place is of high-quality with great vibe, local feeling and safe atmosphere. I’m not sure why brands like peloton, fabletics, tonal are set as vendors on this street, or car brands?! There are so many on I-45! So out of place and out of value. The predecessors did great job keeping its value and character , reflecting the feeling and style of the Woodlands. There is Greenspoint and multiple other commercial strips for a different value and setting….The Woodlands mall was degraded with a monstrous fast food construction just in front of its entrance ( shake shack? Really?). Bad marketing and commercial vision and choices.
Edit: I was hoping that improvement on commercial shops choice would be possible, but seeing Nike on Market Street makes me really wonder about the marketing and sales managing the space of this unique square and location! The blue and colors chosen for the future Nike shop stick out like a sore thumb in a beautiful classy...
