We were just in Tombstone yesterday and parked our 33’ RV in the lot so we could check out Tombstone. The sites are clearly marked and spacious so you can put out slides and steps. The parking is paid based on the honor system (an envelope to write in your vehicle info and include your cash payment, then drop into lock box). It was $10 for the night, which we happily paid so we could check out the area. This is a level gravel lot, with dry camping spaces only....no amenities or hookups, so go prepared. The lot is a very short walk to the tourist areas in Tombstone, including the O.K. Corral, courthouse, dining, etc. We were sad we had to start our journey back to Texas and unable to stay the night. I’m sure the stars are beautiful at night. The view of the mountain certainly is!

Was told about this place from fellow Nomads. I stayed two nights ar their RV "park". There are two parking lots, upper for day use, and lower for RV/tent/van/car camping. The entrance to the lower lot was a litte steep but manageable, woundnt want to try in a heavy rain storm. Plenty of spots, but this is a "dry" or "disperse" camp/RV lot so no power, sewage, or trash. Best part was $10 a night. There is a small box and envelopes for you to write tag number, day and date of check in and planned check out. (Honor system) and the other best part, you're only walking distance from. Allen Street and the OK Corral.

Excellent little campground. Please note, this is dry camping only. No hookups. Also, there is no trash, so pack in/pack out. Walking distance to all things Tombstone! Fires allowed. Pay the $10/night fee in the envelopes available at the post upon entry. It's the first left as you head down the hill. Even got to spot the northern lights while there in October. Heed my warning, coyotes are present and prevelant in this area. Keep pets on leashes or secured in your trailer. As per usual, leave out no food or trash. I will definitely return.

Fantastic Arizona sunsets over Apache Peak! Every evening seems better than the one before. Two blocks to historic Allen Street. Easy access and spacious lots. An upper section and a lower section. Upper location is perfect access to Shoot Out Arena! OK Cafe is a must for breakfast and lunch on the corner of 3rd and Allen. Johnny Ringos and The Depot for drinks and dinner on the corner of 10th and Allen. There is even a great shop on the corner of South 3rd and Survey - across from the dry camping - where we found great produce, veggies, drinks, gifts, ice, Arizona grass fed beef, fresh eggs, bagels, coffee beans ....super cute...
