ROYCE' Chocolate at Mitsuwa Marketplace in Torrance — Local services in Torrance

I told the shop employee that I wanted to choose a good chocolate for my little niece, and I asked how the strawberry flavored chocolate was. She didn't say anything about how that chocolate has alcohol in it. I actually went in multiple times and bought the same chocolate multiple times but I was never told about the alcohol in the chocolate. When I found out after reading through all the ingredients, which includes a lot of stuff, I went in and talked to a different employee. This other employee was telling me that "this is Japanese company, and Mitsuwa supermarket is a Japanese supermarket and everyone knows this chocolate has alcohol in it". I told her that I really doubt that, especially because not everyone who shops there is Japanese! She then pointed to very tiny fine print that showed "contains alcohol", and I told her that those tiny fine print labels are not clear for people who want to get chocolate for little kids! I was extremely disappointed by both of the employees, the first one for not mentioning the alcohol after I told her I was getting something for my little niece, and the second employee for trying to make me feel ignorant for not knowing that Nama Chocolate has alcohol in it.
