Burlington — Local services in Town of Clarkstown

This store never seems to amaze me anymore no matter how much time passes in between my visits to this place!!! It still ALWAYS seems like when I go into this place, they're either about to go outta business completely, or at the very minimum, they're soon to announce that they're gonna be going outta business in XYZ amount of time from the time I walk into this place & ALWAYS seem to find the exact same ALMOST COMPLETELY EMPTY, or TOTALLY 100% EMPTY SHELVES, throughout the entire store!! To the point that it actually tells its own story for any customers who walk in here & first things they see are almost empty shelves up & down every single aisle of this store constantly!!! It gives the shoppers the impression without being told as much, that this store is no longer restocking their shelves with new or more of the same, or similar items to whatever little they've got left on the shelves that it appears they're always trying to sell off to any old fool who walks into this store & sees the little they've got to sell on the shelves, giving the impression to the customers that they're getting a bargain on the items when they keep jacking the prices up on the 2 or 3 items they're trying to get rid of, which to me in my opinion is a scam all by itself, because this is exactly how this store continues to stay in business when they do things like that to the customers walking in there, only to find almost bare shelves constantly, as though they're not replenishing anymore items for reasons such as going outta business. I always wonder when it is I'm gonna find that this store is gonna be the next headline in the local news online, to see that they've finally declared this stores actual closing date, especially when I go into this store, no matter what time of year, or how spaced out my visits are shopping here, it always seems to be the same look inside this place, empty shelves with nothing but the broken, leftovers nobody else wanted at full price, which they again jackup the price on, cross it out & call it a sale, clearance, 50% off, or 75% off item left sitting alone on the shelf, as though they're giving away some sorta good discounted price on the item that nobody else bought when it had been in stock in this store, for customers to choose the best option to purchase from, but in reality it's just another one of the games stores like this plays with pricing on their items to make another buck they didn't have before on the not so smart shoppers coming into find these kinda things on the shelves in a store like this when they walk into this place & see what I've seen more times than I can count every time I've come into shop here & find the same almost empty or completely fully empty shelves with nothing left to sell on them, giving the obvious impression that maybe they're not restocking because they're not staying in business anymore, like many other stores inside this mall have done when they've come & gone outta business too. It's a very sad, negative impression to give away about a store when they continue to keep their shelves looking as bare as the way they constantly do when I've visited this store over the years, to find the same look constantly each time throughout the store of the stores shelves & their emptiness, just...

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Burlington – Palisades Center

I walked into the store around 5:45 p.m. to look for clothes. After spending over an hour carefully browsing and selecting items, I was ready to try them on—only to find out that the dressing rooms were closed. Seriously? A clothing store without access to fitting rooms during business hours is completely unacceptable.

I approached an employee, an African American woman who, to be honest, spoke to me in a very rude and aggressive manner. Despite her attitude, I chose not to escalate things and instead asked to speak with the manager.

That’s when the experience went from bad to worse. The manager, a young man covered in tattoos, piercings, and with an intimidating presence, greeted me with even less professionalism. I’m not judging him by his appearance—everyone has the right to express themselves—but his behavior was unprofessional and hostile.

When I explained the situation and how much time I had already wasted, his response was:

“And what do you want me to do? I don’t have to open the fitting rooms. We don’t have the staff.”

No empathy. No solution. Just disrespect and a total lack of customer service.

I left frustrated, feeling like I had just dealt with people who treat customers worse than street thugs in the Bronx. I’ve been shopping in the U.S. for years and have never experienced such poor treatment.

They are letting anyone work here. I was in this store with my family, looking for a bag until a woman we believed to be a worker walked up to us and insulted us, calling us stupid and how our generation are dumbasses in general. We believed that this act was due to our race and felt we were targeted. Instead of letting her disrespect me and my family, I went up to her and pressed her, asking why she would say anything so insulting to a group of kids with their parents. Security then came and the lady started acting all innocent, denied everything and called us liars after I repeated everything she had told us. Security stood there and didn’t do anything. I believe this employee goes by the name of Emily Watson.
