I went in today, because I had an overdue bill and my phone was cut off. An employee named Leeyah welcomed me with a big warm smile and immediately asked how she can help. I explained that my bill was due and I wouldn’t be able to pay it all, but I was willing to pay a large portion. Rather than take my money and send me on my way, she helped me to make a payment arrangement and saved me over a hundred bucks that I was prepared to give up. Also she made me aware of the in store service charges and encouraged and helped me service up from my phone. I’m thankful because I needed to lock up a few things for home and some other necessary items with that money, and she helped me get my phone back on without getting a dime out my pocket. I am really appreciative because a lot of places just “take your money and go”. But she was patient and worked me kindly to debit up from my phone. I am thankful for her warm welcoming personality and money saving advice. I was able to put that money to good use in other areas of my life and I am...
Read moreThe customer service at this T-Mobile store is by far the worst I’ve experienced. On November 16, I walked in with a simple question (the cameras can confirm this). I arrived around 11 AM and waited for about 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Once I was finally greeted, I explained that I had lost my phone and needed to know if I had insurance and how much it would cost. The representative gave me the insurance company’s phone number and told me to call them. Despite me clearly stating that I lost my phone, the rep continued to suggest actions that required a phone, which was extremely frustrating. So, I left.
Fast forward to when I visited the T-Mobile location in Tarrytown. There, they took the time to actually assist me, and I was able to get a new phone with their help. The experience was so much better that I felt compelled to share my complaint. Honestly, after that poor encounter, I almost considered...
Read moreDo not fall for the switch!! T-mobile never paid for our switch from Verizon costing us $530. In addition, we have had to switch toghe modem multiple times because we only get one bar in our New City home. When switch the modem, they upgraded us without permission an extra $30 a month. Multiple calls to customer service and they would not reimburse us. The worst experience with T-mobile. Also fell for the “free upgrade” with Costco T-mobile and this was quite the deception! A year later, we are paying just as much as we did with Verizon and Verizon had far better service and no issues. Save yourself the time and money. Very disappointed. Amy was very helpful and sympathetic, however, T-mobile is unethical...
