Mediocre food, reasonably fast.
Needed a quick meal before evening event. Finally found East Wok; the GPS tried to tell me that it was "on the road" but it turned out to be several hundred feet away, deep in a shopping center.
Arrived on a Saturday night at dinnertime. The place was jumping. Mostly order-in for take-out, but a few customers present in person. We ordered, they said 15 minutes, and it was. Not a great place to wait for food, though; pretty basic in the amenities (no bathroom).
Seafood soup: hot. very hot. Not a lot of solid content, and that was somewhat overcooked (well, it might have been right when served, but it was 10+ minutes of additional cooking before it was cool enough to be edible). Large chunks of celery; not my go-to Chinese vegetable. Crab was probably pollock. Lobster hard to identify. Shrimp chewy.
Steamed vegetable dumplings: probably frozen. Thick, chewy skins. Cabbage interior. Meh. Dipping sauce: lots of soy, some kind of oil, occasional bits of ginger. Meh.

Many places don’t seem to do that so I rarely order shrimp that I love. But this place does! Happy I took the chance! Yay no shrimp poop! Definitely going to order from here more knowing this. The sauce on the side was good.
People were friendly. The ratio of protein to broccoli was good. I feel some other places it feels I get 90% broccoli or something but this place has a good ratio that felt like a good value. Happy, will go here again! Bf got chicken lo mein which he...
Read moreGood Americanized Chinese food. I've been coming here for over 10 years, on average about twice a month, and love their vegetarian food.
Their Vegetarian Delight and Veggie Lo Mein are excellent, especially for the price. They also have vegetable egg rolls and fried dumplings, which makes this place a good stop for vegetarians.
I can't comment on the meat dishes, other than that they look good.
I've eaten in the restaurant a few times and it's clean and bright with several tables, but let's face it, most people are coming here...
