This would've have been a one star review, but its higher today because of the previous 5 star service that we got from Nina.
My wife loves the jewelry especially anything plumeria related. Over the year we have come to this location for her birthdays, anniversary, and other reasons. We've greeted with excellent customer service until today.
Got a mother of pearl pulmeria pendent for my wife this Christmas. She noticed that the gold chain (rose) didn't match the gold (yellow) border of the pendent. So we brought it back thinking it was an easy solution.
The CS rep didn't not agree that it was a problem and that the Rose gold chain would oxidize over time to match the yellow border of the pendent..............And did not see this as a problem.
So we paid for a piece of jewelry that doesn't match and that it could match over "time," is what she had the guts to tell me with a straight face.
She was argumentative and not accommodating. We were fed up by then so I wanted a refund to which she gladly complied.
The other rep heard what happened and actually offered the perfect solution. Why don't we return the pendent separately and get the gold chain. We both thought it was an excellent idea until the first rep just came back and said "it won't match anyways."
Seriously. Is she trying to sabotage the store?
I told my wife I can't support this physical location anymore and that if she wants something just get it online. I don't think the first CS rep cared about store quota or keeping repeating customers.
I just hope she's not a manager cause this was a poor way of handling a simple issue.

She asked if I was going to try on and take pictures of all of the rings, even after I told her we were looking at engagement rings for the first time, and she generally seemed bothered by us even being there. Then she whispered something to another staff member and they both laughed. Completely put a sore taste in my mouth and made me lose all my enthusiasm. Even though their pieces are lovely, now I don't really want something from there because it will be associated with that belittling experience. My partner and I went to another store just around the corner, and the staff were so much nicer, encouraging me to try on lots and lots of pieces and offering help with navigating the experience. I wont be buying any pieces from here now but especially not the most important piece of jewelry...

I had occasion to meet the staff myself, recently, because I'd allowed a necklace to become so knotted (wearing it to bed, yoga classes and snorkeling all summer), I couldn't get it off my neck. Two great staff members, Anna in particular, worked in tandem with a jewelers loupe and "chopsticks" to untangle three knots, in a very fine chain, getting close and personal with humor and expertise. Afterwards, Anna gave me a proper "bed" for my necklace, handwriting a humorous little note, as well. The jewelry here is beautiful, purchasing is a happy experience and, as I can now attest, customer service...
