A Christmas to Remember — Local services in Town of North Elba

As the customer I want to commend the exceptional service provided by a young woman at the counter during our recent visit. She was incredibly helpful and personable, assisting our son with a personalized ornament purchase within his budget. However, a disturbing incident unfolded shortly after my elderly mother accidentally broke an ornament. The young lady graciously told us not to worry, and we were grateful for her empathy, therefore we continued to shop at the store. After the transaction was completed, a different employee picked the broken ornament out of the trash and demanded payment. We were taken aback and questioned why there was a sudden shift in policy. This second employee then proceeded to reprimand the younger employee in front of the customer, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional situation.
