We stayed here for 3 nights starting on July 4th. After receiving a very warm welcome from the staff, we relaxed and got settled in. Our room was great, clean and spacious for the 2 of us and our dog, Charley! The location was perfect, close to town, and yet far enough away from the crowded Main Street activities. We were actually able to see the fireworks from the property entrance ! There’s a great fire pit that overlooks a bit of Lake Placid, a beautiful pool, a large, well furnished, community kitchen and outdoor deck with 2 grills. We met some very nice folks who were also staying here. The bed was super comfy and having a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave was very convenient. This is a very special piece of property that offers pretty Adirondack views with lots of green space, easy walking, peaceful nights, and a relaxed vibe that you can’t get everywhere. The one thing I hope they can figure out is the lack of hot water in our room, but we survived that with really quick showers! Thank you, Miguel for helping us get settled and checking in on us and for making our stay so memorable. I hope we can come back soon!

I had reserved a room here thru a 3rd party. The instructions said to contact the hotel 24 hours in advance for check in info. I called and was informed that there was no front desk and I would he emailed a room number/key code the next day. By 4pm I had no received an email so I called back and they told me that my info from the booking website had not carried over. The locks do take a little getting used to. My first code didn’t work and I had to have it refreshed so it took me about 30 mins to get into my room. The rooms were clean and newly redone. I was alittle nervous bc my room was on the back side and the locks on my window were broken off but I didn’t have any issues. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full sized stocked community kitchen that helped save on food costs during the trip. Day 2 my door code again stopped working and someone came to help but they said my door battery was showing as dead and they didn’t know how to change the door battery. The showers were VERY SMALL. My toddler was scared to get in. Other than that it was a great location and I would stay there again!

We absolutely loved staying here for our recent Lake Placid getaway. Location so close to the heart of the village was perfect. The unit was modern, clean, comfy, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We were originally booked at Placid Bay Hotel, but due to a scheduling mishap, weren't able to stay there so Miguel, the general manager, graciously upgraded us to stay in the 3-bedroom unit here. He and his team were a pleasure to work with and we're now lifelong fans of Weekender hotels. Miguel and his team define modern hospitality at its finest. One of the best stays we've had out of our many trips. Highly recommend staying at any of the Weekender properties if you can!

Such a wonderful place to have a real Adirondack getaway! We went up for Independence Day weekend and were so thrilled with our choice to stay here! Miguel was so welcoming and helped us get settled in to our big, spacious room with our dog, Charley. We felt so at home immediately! There is a lot of green space on the property, with a beautiful pool and a fire pit with a view of Lake Placid. You can cook here or get take out and use the well equipped kitchen or eat outside on the big community deck with 2 grills. We had our friends join us for take home pizza and wings on our first night there.! The staff is so friendly and attentive and so easy going! You don’t get that everywhere, that’s for sure! Ice is always available along with coffee, water, and fresh towels, in the office kitchen. You’re very close to town, well within walking distance but far enough away, that you’ll have a peaceful evening and can hear the loons on the lake calling to each other ! I’ve stayed at several places on Mirror Lake ($$$$$) over the years and I must say that this property made me feel more relaxed and “Adirondacky” than any of the others. I can’t wait to go back, and I Know our Charley feels the same way! Thank you so much to Miguel and his staff for making us feel so welcome! This is such a...

i recently had the pleasure of staying at the Townhouse Lodge, and overall, my experience was fantastic. The on-site staff were amazing and incredibly accommodating, even when I asked a million questions. Their friendliness and willingness to help made my stay truly enjoyable.

However, there was a bit of confusion with the booking process. We originally booked for the Placid Bay Inn and were shown a room and location specific to that inn. Upon arrival, we discovered our room was actually at the Townhouse Lodge down the block. While this wasn't a huge issue since both locations are quite similar, it would be helpful if this discrepancy were fixed to avoid any future confusion.

As a minor complaint (just being a girl), the rooms lacked full-body mirrors, which made it difficult to see myself properly. It would be great if this amenity could be added in the future.

Despite these small issues, I had an awesome experience. The rooms were spacious and modern, and Miguel, the manager, was particularly great. Additionally, I loved having access to the boats—they added a fun and unique element to my stay.

Overall, I highly recommend the Townhouse Lodge for its excellent staff, comfortable accommodations, and enjoyable amenities. Just remember to add some full-body mirrors, and it...

I am not usually one to leave a review, but in this case I had to! This place is awesome! It far exceeded our expectations. It is absolutely gorgeous, welcoming, conveniently located and very pet friendly. The staff is exceptional, especially Rob! He and Anthony are honestly why I wrote this review. Rob has no problem answering any and all questions you might have. My husband and I came from the city , we are not familiar with this area at all or any of the incredible tourist attractions. Rob had no issue going into great detail about all of the exciting things there is to do. He gave us detailed directions to many different places that we are very excited to check out! Anthony is a sweetheart, if you ask him for something he has no problem getting it. You don’t have to wait a substantial amount of time. The first day we had a slight issue with our tv and within 2 minutes of contacting the hotel, Anthony was at our door. They are both very personable and down to earth. They do not rush you when you are trying to speak to them. All in all they are very professional and definitely a great addition to the hotel! Thank you both for making our stay that...
