Just Bead It — Local services in Town of North Elba

First and last time I will ever go here. Went in excited to make a custom bracelet for my mom's birthday. Spent about 10-15 minutes picking out beads while waiting for the owner to finish with other customers. Afterwards, she approaches me and asks what I'm looking to make with the beads I picked out and I replied a bracelet. Instead of offering to help me figure out what bracelet material to use she gives me an unpleasant look and goes "Why don't you get something premade". I was so shocked at the insincerity and rude approach that I just put back my beads and left (the owner wasn't even interested in helping me after making her remark and went to another customer). We just had the most wonderful experience at Just Bead it. Lauren was amazing. Her wonderful outgoing personality makes it easy and enjoyable to spend hours beading in her shop. We have children of all ages, from teenagers to young children, and she kept them all engaged and interested in their projects for over an hour. Worried about safety precautions during the current epidemic? Have no fear, Lauren and her staff are making sure everyone is safe in the shop while shopping or beading. Been going here since they were next to Golden Arrow- and still love it. Now they over look Mirror Lake while creating your designs!

A special shout out to Lauren- who treated my 12 year old with such incredible kindness. My daughter was making a “sunshine box” for her friend- so was only looking for “yellow” beads and “yellow” items. Even though she was spending $8.00 she treated her like an adult making a big purchase. That says a lot to a mom! I thank you Lauren!!!! ☀️☀️☀️☀️
