If I could give Pure Placid 10 stars, I would. The scents are fresh, delicious, and relaxing all at once. They're beautiful! And never overwhelming. The body wash makes my showers feel like a daily treat. I use the citrus scent. The hand and body lotion in vanilla is my ABSOLUTE favorite lotion I have ever used. I have always used intense-moisture lotions since my skin is extremely dry and I live in Utah. But this lotion, despite feeling light and absorbing quickly, hydrates better than anything I have used. That it has the natural smells of the Adirondacks makes it luxurious as well. No more "intense" moisturizers for me. I actually had a blind sniff test with my friends with the soy candle vs three other candles of various prices and quality. They all chose Pure Placid! It was a balsam and cedar scent, much more refined than the others, which included one candle twice the price. When I'm going to go out with bare legs or just want a special pick-me-up, I use the sugar scrub. The oils in it and exfoliation make my skin smooth and glowing! Pure placid? More like pure happiness. Where do I begin? My childhood was a trip to the tri-lake area of the Adirondacks every summer to camp until it was time for college and working. I took a decade off from the area only to return to an air bnb this past summer, filled with products of sensational aromas purchased from this store. Ive always been keen to the smells of the mountains, pine especially, so Whiteface Hike was enchanting, and a no brainer for me. I even asked the homes owner where I could find this store instead of googling it like any other millennial. I needed to be sure. Me and my wife have ordered a few times from the online store during the pandemic, and the products always arrive in a timely fashion. Pure Placid is my go to not only for myself but for all my gift giving needs. Their products smell absolutely amazing, light and not overpowering for those that are scent sensitive.
