The Times Vintage — Local services in Town of Southold

I have been coming here for years, but I don’t think I will be coming in again. I love the place, it has amazing items that are truly vintage and the staff are normally incredibly kind — But last week I came to visit, and saw a Pentax camera kit that I really liked with three lenses and a flash. I live very far, and so when I got home the next day I realized I wanted it. I gave them a call, and asked them to hold it. They took down my name, number, and even told me they’d send me pictures of it. I even offered a deposit, but the girl said not to worry about one. She was very nice and told me she’d keep it behind the counter for me. I told them I’d be back the following week. I come all of the way from Jamaica, Queens. Today when I arrived, I was told they not only put it out again without calling me first, but also sold it and that there was no note on it from the start. Definitely won’t be getting any business...

We spent 6 days in Orient and we found this incredible great vintage store in Greenport. I am not into vinyl but the selection of music, from my youth, was just great. We visited the store 3 times and each time we were able to find something to take home. The selection of clothes are unique, and I will definitely be back to check again the orange glass vases in the back of the store, they are real pieces of art.
