Today I became engaged to my love of my life! It’s a day I will always remember. In slow motion I feel every kind a beautiful interaction I had at the American Beech restaurant. We received a warm welcome and congratulations from hostess Stephanie that made us both feel so special! For us that warmth and excitement would have been enough but with American Beech it was just the beginning. We received a complimentary champagne toast from Stephanie and our incredibly sweet server Sydney. The manager Amy came over as we asked for her as we wanted to let her know how above and beyond our entire experience was. She was so kind and appreciative of our compliments but truly the pleasure was all ours. This is an outstanding place with a kind and warm staff who are all about genuinely providing a 5 star experience. The food was fantastic, I loved the smash burger and my FIANCÉ, Enjoyed the duck wings. The restaurant provided us with a complimentary dessert which was a complete surprise. My friends and I stopped by American Beech in Greenport for a drink, and we had such a great experience! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We grabbed seats at the indoor bar and were greeted by Cole, the bartender, who truly made our night.

When I asked for a sweet cocktail, Cole recommended the Watermelon Sangria—it was delicious, refreshing, and perfect for the heat wave we were having. My friends usually go for lemon drop martinis but were in the mood to try something new. Cole suggested a Corpse Reviver No. 2, a cocktail we had never even heard of (and it wasn’t on the menu), but wow—it was incredible! Bright, citrusy, and the perfect balance of sweet and sour.

American Beech Restaurant is hands down the best place to eat in Greenport! Theres an amazing vibe from the moment you walk in. Chic yet relaxed. In addition, the staff couldn’t be more welcoming.
