Great place! I joined the kickboxing class here with no previous sports experience. All I know about sports is that I hated PE in high school. The teacher and "classmates" are so friendly and encouraging! I am motivated to push my limits while also given space to do things "easier" way if needed based on my ability (more like inability). Three reasons I joined this class were: as a mom of little kids I needed to find a hobby that didn't involve them, I wanted to better my health, and I needed something to help with my mood and worries. I am so happy this class (and circuit training now too) checks out all of these - I feel better emotionally (tired and dying, but in a good way😅), I feel stronger physically, more confident, and I can calm myself down that if a threatening situation ever comes into my life, I can attempt to defend myself and my kids (hi, mom fears!). If you are debating if you should go - you should totally go! I think it's also very useful for people who are scared of going to the gym because they have no clue how to use anything or how to work out (wait, am I talking about myself again? Oh well, it's my review). In circuit training we use many different equipment and do various body strength exercises - there are plenty of ideas on what to...
Read moreI removed my daughter from another place. She was there over 2 yrs. She started going here and I see huge improvement in her skills. John has been working with my daughter, cleaning up her forms and sparring. I appreciate the little things he points out. This helps her out tremendously in Taekwondo. She truly loves her sport and art of Taekwodo. Coach John is amazing with the kids. If you want true tradition of Taekwondo. You will learn to have respect for yourself and the people around you. You bow in and bow out of class, showing respect to the teacher and classmates. I highly recommend you check them out. Also, the BIG thing I've noticed is that it feels like family. Everyone is so sweet and welcoming.
My kid is officially a 1st degree black belt as of...
