Golden Wok Buffet — Restaurant in Troy

Absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. If you think this trash is good, Green China in St. Charles will blow your mind. It took 2 bites of each item for $45 to end up in the trash. Shrimp fried rice was mushy, bland, and clearly not fried. The orange chicken tasted like a rubbery dish rag. The crab rangoon was made with inferior quality cream cheese and had no crab. The sweet and sour sauce even tasted like fish. The sauce for the steamed pot stickers also had a dirty metal twang to it. There's clearly an issue with cleanliness and cross contamination. I received the order through door dash and was impressed with the speed and portion size. After tasting the food, I now understand they have a bunch of pre-made trash that I wouldn't even eat for free. Well, at least there's the fortune cookie to look forward to... oh, wait, nope didn't get any of those either. That's OK though, they'd probably taste...

I've really tried to like this place but I just can't stomic it. I ate here for the first time 2 years ago. I came down with something that evening. Didn't think much of it. Second time I ate there my husband and I both ended up with food poisoning. Came back for a 3rd and final time after a friend said they had gotten much better. We finished up our food and i went to the restroom. While washing my hands an employee flushed the toilet as she did this the sink water turned brown and had a foul smell. Then someone flushed another toilet and the same thing happened. My daughter and I paid for our meals and went next door to finish washing our hands. The 6 of us that ate all came down with food poisoning shortly after. This place is gross. The food was hardly warm, and the water thing...

Our first time eating there this evening and my husband and all 3 of my kids one of which is only 16 months old, got food poisoning! They all atqe fish which was labeled "Tilapia" and was actually Salmon. When my 7 year old cut in to his I could smell a NASTY smell from across the table. I told him not to eat it. Unfortunately he had already taken a couple of bites. I didn't realize that my 13 year old and my husband had also gotten the same fish and given our 16 month old a bite when I was away from the table. Lucky for me I don't like fish but my poor guys are fighting each other for the bathrooms right now!
