I just left Kroger and I'm extremely upset. I went in to get a couple of makeup items and some hair stuff and I grabbed a frozen dinner to eat. I was in the store for maybe an hour at the most just looking around at stuff and I had to use the restroom, so I decided to go before I checked out... well I sat my items down on the rack next to the bathroom entrance and when I came out all of my items were gone. So I made a statement to the manager that was ironically in every single aisle that I happen to go down my entire time there that my items that I had were picked up by somebody and no longer there. He then approached me and told me that he was done playing games and I needed to leave and I asked for what reason and he said I'm done playing games , you've been walking around with that makeup for an hour and I don't have time for you ,you need to leave now or I'm going to call the police.I said I don't understand why you would call the police and waste all of out time, because I haven't done anything wrong, and i wasn't aware that there was any specific rules or policicies that state a specific time frame allowed for shopping. Then he again told me that I needed to leave the premises now because he was calling the police. It was embarrassing and completely uncalled for, and i will never go back...
Read moreAfter my first time shopping here was for instacart. I was upset because the cashier seemed a little rude (slight eye rolling and frustration) and I didn't know why. When I came back for the next batch, I wore my glasses and noticed the giant sign that showed the isle that is for speedy checkout(15 items or less or something like that) and that was the isle I checked out in last time with a decent amount more than that so I kinda deserved that.
During the social distancing time they had to stop people at the door and this is totally understandable. They had rows made out to keep people lined up 6 feet away from each-other on the sidewalk so the line wouldn't end up going into the street. This is a great idea if it were being enforced. The line did not go onto the sidewalk whatsoever and I had to stand in the street. I didn't want to block traffic so I asked the other people in line if we could wrap around onto the sidewalk to keep the line out of traffic's way. Only one person agreed with me and moved while the rest of the people were for some reason content making people block traffic. When I spoke up I was hoping the employee at the door would have asked the people to move into the rows designed for this purpose. He did not. Other than this experience I would...
Read moreSo I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 1, if I could rate the store lower I would. The store almost never has what I am looking for, they are always low or completely out of their stocked items. The bread is NEVER fresh, I just moved to this town and the people that work in this store are rude, hateful and creepy. I can find what I need guys I don't need you to ask if I need help every 5 seconds. I felt like is being followed! There is hardly anyone in this store which should have raised red flags for me. I'm not sure who this woman was but her name was Jackie, she was so rude and hateful to me and my family that I will never come back. Do yourself a favor folks, go next door to Walmart for your groceries. The current manager there at Kroger is doing a horrible job whoever he is fire him Kroger because he doesn't know what he is doing it better yet, just choos your doors forever, Walmart...
