We are thankful to find Midwest Retro! The owner is very welcoming as soon as you walk in, and youāre greeted with a smile. Every time we go in there he is knowledgeable and very helpful! His shop is loaded with a lot of consoles, classics, and hidden gems. Every time we go in he has new trades or items. The pricing is very fair and affordable! Heās also very sweet to my 8 year old son sharing tips and tricks and gives recommendations for games and just overall great conversation. itās always important for me as a mother to walk in and my child is greeted with respect and smiles! Caleb the owner is also very easy going and personable.

I went to the Midwest Retro's Whatnot live stream on June 20th after being linked by someone who mentioned to me they had very rare Nintendo 64 and vintage games.
I saw they were showing off a beautiful copy of Majora's mask which was resealed in a 3rd party shrink wrap. In spite of these games being resealed, they still looked to be in very nice condition and I was still an interested buyer nonetheless, excited to see what else they might have for sale.
In response to me noting their resealed games were not factory sealed, I was banned from the livestream. In addition, Midwest Retro started yelling insults at me in front of his very large live audience (about 30-40 viewers). Horrible customer service...

Additionally, the interaction was less than welcoming. An employee was using inappropriate language when I arrived and did not demonstrate much professionalism or courtesy throughout the exchange. Another small local business was being bad mouthed. I ended up taking my items to another game store and received a significantly better offer. It was disappointing, especially after...
