On 4/18/23 I came in to return one of my four items in my bag that was purchased on Saturday. I came in the store with the same bag and all items. I was in the store walking around for about 5-7 minutes with my baby in the stroller. When I got to the counter the cashier (Whoās name may be Geana) made me take each item out my bag so she could make sure each item in my bag was on my receipt and that I paid for it. I just kept asking her why is she doing that when Iām only returning one. I couldnāt believe that she was checking my bag to make sure I hadnāt stole anything. I was very upset and just kept saying I canāt believe your doing this. I feel like your racially profiling me. The cashier didnāt say anything! Iāve been coming to that Victoria secret store forever. Because I always felt they had great customer service even to the nastiest customers. At one point I was coming there so much several employees new me by name as they did other customers that shopped there frequently! Iām very disappointed in my visit today. And me being a African American woman told by a Caucasian woman to take everything out my bag to make sure I paid for everything in my bag on my receipt just to return one item really hurt. I was getting ready to break down and cry until my eldest son walked up to me and I couldnāt let him see his mother like that. Needless to say I donāt feel comfortable coming back to this location and I hope management or corporate handles this...

We didnt try them on there because it was so busy, upon getting home i tried on the bra and was too thick for my liking so i came to the oakland mall location and the cashier a black female just stared at me with no expression on her face and said āyou want to return thisā literally so lifeless no hi how are you or anything i thought she was a robot. She proceeded to say i cant return the bra without a tag even though it was in perfect condition and i had the receipt. My friend had gone in line before me while i was looking around and she returned her bra with no tag with no problem! I asked for a manager and the Hispanic manager said its their policy that you need a tag but according to the VS website theres nothing on there saying you need the tag. The manager did return it for me but she was very unapologetic and couldnt explain why my friend returned hers with no issue and i couldnt return mine. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently tried to return an item and was met with 2 employees who did not know how to facilitate the process correctly.
Since the return was over 30 days and w/o a receipt, only an exchange was able to be preformed. When I asked the employee for a return I was told that I can only exchange it for the same exact product. Mind you, this is nowhere stated on the website.
After reading the companyās return policy, exchanges are allowed so I went back to the store to exchange the item.
Two sales associates didnāt know how to process the return and had to call (what I presume to be the store manager) Priscilla. Thankfully Priscilla was able to assist my return with no issues and with a smile.
Unfortunately the previous managers Alexis and Amelia were unable to help.
Victoria Secret it is holiday season, please train all associates on the entire return policy so you can avoid issues like these in the future.
