I have never felt verbally abused at a hair salon so this was a first. Preface- I was running 10 minutes late to my hair consult with Laura, I called and let her know and we rescheduled it, which I totally understand. When I actually came in on the reschedule date, on time, she did not greet me, did not smile, did not even ask my name. She just glared at me and led me to the consult chair. When she asked what I wanted she got frustrated with me when I was trying to explain to her I wanted done. She said that I was unprepared and acted annoyed that I didn't already have a picture pulled up of exactly what I wanted. I thought a consult was to discuss what I wanted with her not just tell her point blank, if I had known the right way to describe it I wouldn't have needed a consult!! When I said I could look up some pictures she said no she'll do it and annoying looked through her pictures. Took her all of 20 seconds to find one that was exactly what I was trying to explain. After that she left me in the chair without saying anything and walked over to the check out counter. After scheduling my appointment I apologized again for running behind the other day and she said, "yeah I can't deal with that and that's why I scheduled you with another person. Hopefully you can respect her time." And she turned and walked away without saying anything else. I left feeling really confused and like I did something wrong, even though I apologized for the first consultation. Please! I beg you to read my comment if you are thinking about getting anything done in this salon. I went to get a color correction done with Erin, Jessica the owner was also there. I would like you guys to know that they went ahead and used bleach in my hair to remove the color I had. They ruined my hair and the bleach they used burnt my scalp and hair fell off. I just called the salon to get my money back. I spoke to the owner Jessica and the only thing she said was "I have nothing to say to you, you wasted my time" she didnt even say she was sorry about what had happened. Please do not put your hair in these peoples hands. I was only asking for $50 and she said she was not going to give it to me and that she was going to go ahead and call the cops. Please listen to my awful experience, it will savr you money, pain, and emotional problems. These people do not deserve to call themselves hair dressers. Hair dressers have feelings like any human being, but these people do not. I wish I would have never stepped in this salon that ruined my hair, not only that It brought my self esteem down to the floor. They do not have a heart. Again, please dont walk...

I have been frequenting Salon Salon for about 4 years. I have had haircut, color, and styles over that time. I have seen 4 different staff members and have been 100% satisfied with my experience each time. I no longer live in Tucson but whenever I pass through I make an appointment, I was recently reminded of why I do this. I had a cut from another hairdresser that despite attempts to make work I was doing battle every time I tried to make it presentable. I went to a new staff member at Salon Salon and she listen to my concerns, took a very close look at my hair and came up with a plan to fix my hair. I ended up with a cut that I am 1000% in love with. Styled or fresh out of the shower I love the look!!! The cut suits my personality and hair type to a T, given we had never met I find this a true example of the skill of each staff member the owner hires.
