If I could leave Zero stars, I would. I had someone tell me when they came here, the “mechanic” left the oil cap off of their vehicle before… but I gave the company the benefit of the doubt because people make mistakes.
I was wrong. I never leave bad reviews for places but this isn’t just a bad review, this is awareness made for women who go alone to get their oil changed. I went to get an oil change, instead of driving an hour and a half to the dealership I bought my vehicle from. I didn’t have time to drive that far. So I stopped here, thought I could trust this place but I was wrong. They tested my battery (which is only a year old) and said it was at 30% health. I questioned why they even tested it and they said that it’s something they do for routine inspections. Fine, thank you. Well thank goodness I went and got my battery re-checked because it’s under warranty. I drove TWO DAYS with my oil cap off, and my engine breather tube disconnected. There is oil ALL OVER my hood, my engine, and everything else. I called and spoke to the manager about this situation for him to come back and say “we will give you half off your next oil change”. Sir, I don’t want a discount because I’m not going to be back. I wanted to make him aware of the people who are working there who think they can take advantage of a woman… for him to come back and say that people make mistakes. Read moreI am very unhappy with the Jiffy Lube on North Gloster service. I have always trusted Jiffy Lube & have used them for oil changes for years. I will never go back. On Monday (2/27/23) I arrived at the location. I needed my car to be looked at by a mechanic. I was told the mechanic was not in, but I could leave my car. I wrote down what was going on with my car & also left my cell phone number to be contacted. A guy told me that I would be put first on the list & the mechanic will call me first thing in the morning. The guy also told me he would make sure the mechanic was informed of the issues I was experiencing. On Tuesday morning (2/28/23) I never received a phone call. I waited until 10:30 am, and I finally called. The guy I spoke with told me that he could not find any notes, and they have been wondering what was needing to be looked at. So my car never even got looked at until I called. The end result ended up being they said my massive airflow detector was out of range. They replaced it. I was able to pick up my car Wednesday. Thursday morning I get In my car and all of the sensor lights on my dashboard were on. I paid $500 to JiffyLube & they do not fix my car. Read moreWell I went to the east main location on Saturday and got there before they opened. I pulled up to the bay next to the tire shop door . Was going to stay in the car because I had a dog inside and didn’t won’t anyone to bother him . I was told I would have to wait on the car that pulled up a while after I did so i told them I would just go somewhere else. I then drove to the Gloster location and was told when I got there I would have to wait because there wasn’t 3 people there . I was the only customer there . Have always got my oil changed there I have two vehicles I take to the business and have always what I thought got a full service. ( doesn’t include topping off the fluids) was going to try to charge me 9.99 to top off coolant. I also have a Tundra and was told my last oil change that I needed a 4X4 service. ????
