Chiang Mai is my favorite thai restaurant! I think the stir fry and noodle dishes particularly shine at this restaurant. The pad prik pow (i usually do chicken, spice 2-3) is the single best dish i have ever had at ANY thai restaurant (image attached). ALL the veggies, in a wonderful sweet and spicy brown sauce, cooked to perfection every time. Their pad thai is saucy and delicious, and the khao soi also deserves a shoutout. Portion sizes are perfect for a full meal and probably some leftover for home. The service is amazing, with Milki (spelling, i’m not quite sure) being most wonderful cheery ray of sunlight as the server and host. She makes everyone feel so welcome and loved. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I’ve never written a restaurant review before, but this place definitely deserves it. I need to see the people of Tupelo give some love and attention to this delicious spot!! If anyone remembers and sorely misses U&Me restaurant (rest in peace), this is THE spot for you!

We stopped for the night in Tupelo at the Home2Suites, nextdoor. We wanted something good to eat that wasn't heavy or fried so we started looking at what was close. Chiang Mai was within walking distance and it was excellent. This is a family owned business and you can tell. They care about what they serve. We had the Spring Rolls, Massaman Curry and a beef dish that I can't remember right now. The portions were really big for Thai food and just really tasty. This is an excellent restaurant with great food and we really wish they were closer to our home.

Not sure what happened here... But this ain't it.

Saw the staff reject multiple customers at the front saying that they are too busy when the restaurant looked practically empty. Maybe understaffed? Was hoping that this translated in to quality food. This was not true....

The sesame chicken is basically popcorn chicken or chicken nuggets tossed in sauce which tastes more like orange chicken.

The pad see ewe doesn't taste traditional AT ALL. The oyster dark soy sauce is non-existent and it tastes exactly like a pad thai with flat noodles...

The wonton soup is basically water.. no rich body or flavor with overcooked and mushy dumplings

Crab fried was...
