We arrive at host stand where my party of four is handed a ticket and asked to stand in front of the kitchen doorway in the way of all the servers. We awkwardly stand there for a moment and then after everyone else behind us is sat, one of the hosts over hears us talking about how uncomfortable we are being in the way, then lets the host who gave us the ticket know that she was supposed to seat us with the ticket not give it to us. We are then walked to the very back of the restaurant, next to the bathrooms, at a dirty table with trash all in the floor. Watch your step. The waitress comes over and we give her our drink orders and order an appetizer for each couple. After she takes that order, i let her know our table is dirty and she tries to wipe it down with a dry towel. After that doesn’t work she goes to find a spray bottle and comes back with the towel wet with something. She gets the dirty parts you can see such as the cup rings, and then figured the rest is “fine”. I guess. She comes back with our waters and says she’ll be back with our alcoholic drinks. She comes back with two of the three. We wait about ten minutes on the other with no sign of the waitress, so i ask the server next to her section to check on it. I am made aware that the bartender is new, the bar is backed up, and that it just takes time. I let her know we’d already received two drinks. Server comes back later and says she forgot to put it in, no biggie, i appreciate the honesty. We just ask for it once more and my friend had already finished hers first, so she asks for another. Then only one appetizer shows up. They eat theirs, I wait. I let the server know i don’t have my appetizer and shes leaves and comes back and says it’ll be right out and then says the appetizer my friend had gotten. My friend says she ate that and we were still waiting. I am then brought the soggiest, greasiest fried pickles that had clearly been rushed through the kitchen. Very gross. I gave her the near full basket back when she came with our salads, there’s no hope anymore and i’ve given up. She gives my salad with no cheese to someone else, but we swap back. My salad was missing croutons and i asked about them and she said “i think we’re out” ok. I asked for a tea with my meal since there’s no hope for the bar, and they’re out of that as well. She says she can get me some when it’s done brewing, but i told her i’d be fine without. This lead to her asking several times if i’m sure, to an annoying point. We then receive our food. All my friends for loaded mash or baked potatoes that all came out with unmelted cheese. My 16 oz ribeye that costs near $30 was BURNT on one side and barely touched the grill on the other. i cut off the burnt bits and ate the rest. The rice i ordered as a side was heavily over microwaved and had an awful taste. My friends both ordered NY Strips one medium one medium rare, and they were switched. Waitress comes back once my friend asks her to refill all of our empty waters and she brings tea to refill a diet coke our other friend had. My friend let her know it was an old diet coke not tea, but if she had tea now to bring me one. I reiterated that I was fine and my friend let her know i hadn’t said anything she was just gonna ask and the waitress then asks me several more times if i’m sure. I said yes i’m sure several times. The checks get brought and they’re actually split properly, but then she loses our ticket when she brings the change and has to go find it. There was an aspect of something being wrong at every stage of this damn near $100 meal. I do not get to eat out very often, times are hard and money doesn’t stretch the way you need. I decided to treat me and my boyfriend to a nice steak and had the absolute worst experience. I am in no way trying to be harsh or needy, but as a fellow server of 10+ years, it is so disappointing to not get decent service. Never once seen a manager with this surplus of problems either. The bright side is, txrh has always had good food and bad service, at least now the food has proven to...
Read moreI've eaten at alot of Texas Roadhouses even this one several times and everything has always been great but, tonight was horrible. The waitress was beyond terrible , very unfriendly if we ask a question about something on the menu she would say I dont know wouldn't find out for us, never brought us silverware had to get up and ask for it an went an got it myself after sitting there a good 15 minutes after bringing our salads out. Never ask or brought refills on drinks. The food when finally served was so cold the baked potatoes wouldn't even melt butter, the steaks were dry as leather the shrimp was like it come straight out of the refrigerator. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! I finally got up went an found a waitress an ask to speak to the manager. I've never did this before or have I ever complained about my food when eating out at a restaurant if it wasnt right but this was just awful!!! The manager was very friendly an apologized offered to replace all food fresh but we were so disgusted by this time didnt care if we eat an didnt want to wait another hour possibly on the food that's about how long we waited to start with so I just told her we felt we should get a discount, she made everything right an didnt charge us anything. Oh, I almost forgot we called ahead an made reservations so there wouldn't be any waiting time when we arrived but that didnt fan well either. They called us to come be sitted someone had took our party # wrong so therefore we was told we had to wait until they cleaned a table an could add an extra sit to the table all because all they had available was a both we tried to tell them the booth was fine there wasnt but 3 of us an 2 small children 2 years old we could manage but they wouldn't listen because the 2 girls working the sitting was arguing about our reservation. While we stood waiting the girls walked off for a few minutes then came running back through the front entrance like they were chasing each other giggling and laughing. Then we were approached by someone else about being sitted. She took us straight to a booth. This whole experience was terrible tonight. Although it was awful I cant say I will never eat at Texas Roadhouse again because I know they usually have great service and food but this one tonight I dont know what was up...
Read moreAte here yesterday 3/24/2023. We arrived around 4pm and as soon as we walked in a very friendly face greeted us at the check in booth. Our group had 5 people, we were seated promptly. Our server was Miya who was AMAZING IN ALL AREAS! This young lady took our drink order first and then gave us plenty of time to look over menu before ordering (we have indecisive children lol). She made ordering easy, as she knows the menu very well. After ordering she kept the rolls and butter coming on her own without us having to as for them. A regular drink check was also kept. Our glasses didn't get below the half way point before she was refilling our cups. It took maybe 20 minutes for our food to get to the table, which was acceptable due to the amount we ordered and the head count we had. The food was HOT! It was flavorful and delicious going down. Webhad a birthday at our table as well. This young lady kept her word and had many if the employess come and do the Texas Roadhouse BIRTHDAY YEEEEE-HAAAAWW!! My 15 year old was embarrassed, but it was a sight to see. Very energetic and birthday worthy. While eating She kept the empty plates from piling up as we ate. She made a regular passes at our table to make sure we were OK and to ask if we needed anything. We were in here nearly 2 hours. The restaurant was clean, the over all environment was pleasing to my husband and I and our children as well. We did visit the restroom while here. The main womens bathroom was full, but luckily it was clean. Fortunately they offer a separate family bathroom option which is what we used. Both restrooms were clean and according to my husband so was the men's restroom. We had a easy time paying as they have a ziosk at the table that the kids can play games on while waiting, but it doubles as a check out for your table. It give the option to pay in full or split the check how ever you want to. You can ask the waitress how to use it if you have trouble or you can be left to do it on your own and not be rushed. It's actually a breath of fresh air to have the option, as sometimes we eat out with others and splitting the checks are aggravating and confusing for most waiters/waitresses.
To finish this review, our time here was delightful and we definitely recommend Texas Roadhouse...
